Collectibles in DK Country Returns: 1-1 Jungle Hijinxs
Puzzle Piece 1
At the outset of the level, explore to the left where you will discover a hidden cave containing the first puzzle piece in Donkey Kong Country Returns HD.
Letter K Location
As you pass by the pig that demonstrates block-smashing, look for the letter ‘K’ positioned atop a tree. You can use Diddy’s jetpack boost to reach it easily.
Puzzle Piece 2
Continue along the row of trees located to the left of the ‘K’ letter to discover a dandelion. Blow it to unveil the next puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece 3
When the statues begin to fall, break the final one by attacking the top to reveal a hidden puzzle piece beneath it.
Puzzle Piece 4
As the ship loaded with bananas appears, be on the lookout for a large bulb nearby, protected by some bird enemies. Attack it to uncover the hidden puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece 5
When you encounter two statues releasing bananas, ensure you collect every banana to unlock another puzzle piece in Jungle Hijinxs.
Letter O Location
Look for the letter ‘O’ just before reaching a checkpoint associated with a Diddy barrel. Execute a roll from either side, followed by an immediate jump to collect the tile without taking a tumble.
Puzzle Piece 6
After launching yourself from the cannon into the ruined area at the back of the stage, locate the lone platform on the left. There, you’ll find another dandelion ready to be blown for a surprise puzzle piece.

As you make your way back to the main area, watch for two tiki monsters on a stone platform. Attack the platform to unveil a hidden area where you can gather items and obtain the next puzzle piece.
Puzzle Piece 8
Seek out the faster-moving red birds, and climb high into the trees, heading left to discover a floating puzzle piece waiting to be collected.
Letter G Location
The letter ‘G’ will become visible immediately after gathering the previous puzzle piece. It’s positioned conveniently for collection.
Puzzle Piece 9
For your final collectible, venture to the far right side of the stage, just beyond the goal barrel, to find a secret area housing the last hidden puzzle piece.
To fully complete your collectible journey, remember to tackle the Jungle Hijinxs time trial challenge and aim for a competitive score to achieve all the emblems in the world map stage selector.
