The digital edition of UFO 50 has officially launched on the Switch eShop, retailing for just $24.99. For those interested in physical copies, Fangamer will handle the distribution of both standard and deluxe editions, although these are set for release on February 20, 2026. Notably, the deluxe edition will include an extensive UFO Companion Guide dedicated to all the games included in the collection.

An Impressive Collection of Games

UFO 50 showcases a vibrant collection of 50 original titles, each fictitiously attributed to a console named the LXIII. This diverse assortment encompasses a wide array of genres such as action, role-playing, puzzles, roguelikes, strategy, and deck-building. The project is a collaboration featuring contributions from multiple developers, ensuring an engaging experience across the board.

Physical Editions and Their Perks

For $35, gamers can get the standard edition, which includes a physical cartridge of the game along with bonus items. This package comes with a digital soundtrack, a sticker sheet, a postcard illustrating what a UFO Soft “disk” could look like, and a promotional poster of the fictional console measuring 12″ x 9″. Currently, visual representations of these extra items are not yet available.

The more premium option, priced at $59, features the UFO Companion Guide. This comprehensive guide spans 116 pages and details every game included in the collection, complete with art, hints, strategies, and secrets for unlocking items, as well as an additional set of stickers and prints. The base edition still comes with the digital soundtrack and other promotional goodies, making it a great value for collectors and fans alike.
