Ubisoft Forward gaming showcase returns this June with fresh announcements

Although E3 has come to an end, it seems that game publishers are not putting a stop to their June showcases. Ubisoft has recently revealed the comeback of their annual event, Ubisoft Forward, where fans can expect previews of upcoming projects from the various studios under their ownership.

Ubisoft has officially announced that the Ubisoft Forward 2024 presentation will take place on June 10, 2024 and will be streamed live from Los Angeles to a global audience. The event will feature updates and previews of upcoming releases from the company.

Regrettably, the brief announcement fails to provide any insight into Ubisoft’s plans for the presentation. During the previous year, their studios showcased Star Wars Outlaws, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Skull & Bones, The Crew: Motorfest, and Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. The majority of these games have already been released. However, the highly anticipated Star Wars Outlaws by Massive Entertainment is still awaiting its launch, leading us to believe that the show may feature new footage of the action-packed game.

Ubisoft is currently working on several new Assassin’s Creed games. It is expected that during the 2024 Forward presentation, we will get a glimpse of Codename Red, an upcoming Assassin’s Creed game that will transport players to feudal Japan. Ubisoft Quebec is the studio behind this highly-anticipated RPG title.

Remember that a few years ago, Ubisoft quietly announced a remake of the original Splinter Cell. However, the company has not shared any additional details about this project, which is being developed using the Snowdrop engine. Despite the lack of information, there is a possibility that it may make a surprise appearance this year. Additionally, there are expected to be teasers and announcements for upcoming updates to Ubisoft’s numerous live service games at the event.

The Ubisoft Forward 2024 showcase is scheduled to take place a few days after Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest presentation, which is planned to feature two hours of announcements on June 7.
