Ubah from The Real Housewives of New York City Calls Out Brynn in Ongoing Feud: “You’re Very Condescending”

The fifteenth season of The Real Housewives of New York City is currently highlighting the extravagant lives and conflicts of several housewives in the bustling metropolis. This reality television series is one of Bravo’s longest-running franchises and has inspired over ten spin-off series.

On Tuesday, October 22, the fourth episode was broadcast at 9 PM ET on Bravo, intensifying the drama among the ladies, particularly between Ubah and Brynn. The two continued their heated rivalry from a prior episode, during which Ubah confronted Brynn for allegedly spreading a rumor about Erin Lichy claiming Jenna Lyons was facing financial difficulties.

As the cast gathered to discuss the unfolding issues, Ubah expressed her concern that during a mediation attempt led by Erin, Brynn persisted in alluding to how she shouldn’t act “as a Black woman.”Erin’s commentary triggered further frustration for Ubah, prompting her to voice her thoughts on the ongoing dispute.

“You are a remarkable, beautiful person, but your condescension is palpable and it affects everyone here,”Ubah declared emphatically.

Season 15 features notable housewives including Erin Lichy, Ubah Hassan, Sai De Silva, Jenna Lyons, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Taank, Racquel Chevremont, and Rebecca Minkoff.

Brynn Calls for Respect from Ubah in Episode 4 of The Real Housewives of New York City

Brynn attempted to defend her position on The Real Housewives of New York City, arguing that Ubah had disrespected her by labeling her a “snake,”which she claims triggered their conflict. An upset Ubah interrupted, asserting that she was already aware of Brynn’s points.

The other housewives intervened, urging Ubah to relax, emphasizing Brynn’s right to express her opinions. Brynn shot back that further discussion seemed pointless, believing the matter had been settled. In her confessional, she articulated her intent to be a supportive friend, suggesting Ubah was “playing into stereotypes.”

“This is utterly frustrating. I’m genuinely looking out for you, and I can’t keep trying to reason with everyone,”Brynn vented.

After Ubah exited the room, a tearful Brynn expressed her disappointment to the group about their lack of support. Although the other women disagreed with her feelings, Brynn chose to leave the situation.

The Origin of Ubah and Brynn’s Conflict

The animosity between Ubah and Brynn first arose in the second episode of season 15, when Ubah confided in her castmate Sai about feeling communicated poorly within the group and specifically pointed to Brynn as a significant contributor to the problem.

In a confessional, Ubah shared her displeasure over Brynn disclosing details of her private romance with German banker Oliver Dachsel during season 14. She felt that Brynn exploited her vulnerability and shared their intimate conversation with the rest of the cast.

Moreover, Ubah criticized Brynn for instigating rumors about Erin concerning Jenna’s financial issues following the breakdown of one of Jenna’s vintage cars in the Hamptons. Ubah characterized Brynn as an “intelligent f**king manipulator,”a sentiment that resonated with Sai.

Ubah also revealed that she had previously felt a close bond with Brynn, which allowed her to be emotionally open, making Brynn’s betrayal all the more shocking, especially since she was one of the only individuals, aside from Sai, privy to Ubah’s secrets.

Tune in to The Real Housewives of New York City to see how the rivalry between these two housewives evolves throughout season 15, airing on Tuesdays on Bravo.
