The promotional campaign for Tyler, the Creator’s highly awaited album, Chromakopia, is well underway, with the release date just days away, following the success of his 2021 Grammy-winning project, Call Me If You Get Lost.
Today marks another milestone in this rollout with the unveiling of a trailer showcasing the vinyl editions of Chromakopia. Fans can already pre-order these physical albums through Tyler’s Golfwang website.
This vinyl promotion debuted on Tyler’s YouTube channel following the release of his leading single, “NOID,”earlier this week. The 39-second teaser features the artist performing as “Chroma The Great,”next to a table displaying the vinyl edition of his forthcoming seventh studio album.

Online Acclaim for Tyler, the Creator’s Distinctive Chromakopia Release Strategy
He believes that launching music at the week’s start enables deeper listener engagement, contrasting with the typical weekend vibe where fans are more inclined to relax than to actively listen.
“I think we should put music out again on Tuesdays, instead of Fridays. I think it’s a lot of passive listening, at parties or people getting their workout in, so they’re not really absorbing it. And people on weekends just wanna chill and hang out, so they’re not really listening,”Tyler, the Creator explained.
True to his strategy, he released “NOID”on a Monday, featuring an official music video that includes a cameo by Ayo Edibiri from The Bear as an enthusiastic fan.
The official release of Chromakopia is slated for next Monday, October 28, allowing only a four-day window for charting, contrary to the usual week-long period. Billboard has confirmed it tracks sales and metrics from Friday through Thursday.
Following the vinyl trailer release that teased three new songs, fans took to social media to buzz about the upcoming project. One user commended the rollout for feeling “perfect,”showcasing Tyler’s dedication to maintaining excitement while revealing minimal information about the album.
“Not that there wasn’t a conversation before, but if Chromakopia delivers, we need to have some serious conversations about Tyler’s place on a modern-day hip-hop Mount Rushmore…”- a Tyler, the Creator fan commented.
“NOID has organically grown on me over the past day. And now we’re getting snippets of three incredible tracks that seem reminiscent of igor with rapping,”shared another fan.
“Tyler can’t even trust his own shadow at this point,”humorously pointed out a fan.
“I feel for Tyler, he invests so much thought and emotion into his work, yet many overlook it. It’s similar to ‘Not My Responsibility’ by Billie Eilish; the artist really puts themselves out there,”an X user empathized.
“Overall, this is arguably the best rollout apart from Kendrick’s Beyoncé-level campaign. This is a remarkable marketing approach. That second song sounds phenomenal,”a fan opined.
“This is definitely my favorite visual from the rollout so far. The acting really shines through. The energy contrast is compelling, and the small details are impressive,”noted another fan.
“I’m incredibly excited for this project; it sounds like it’s going to be a masterpiece,”expressed a Tyler, the Creator enthusiast.
Since the debut of “NOID,”the track has amassed over 2.5 million streams on Spotify. Meanwhile, the music video has surpassed 5.5 million views on Tyler’s official YouTube channel.
Today, Tyler, the Creator announced plans for the official Chromakopia “World Tour,”scheduled for February to September 2025, which is expected to include guest performances by Lil Yachty and Paris Texas.
