Overwatch 2 is celebrating the release of its mid-Season 14 patch by offering players Twitch Drops, which include the Synthwave Lifeweaver Epic skin and the corresponding Synth Lotus spray. Fans can easily acquire these exclusive cosmetics by tuning into any Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch for a total of up to four hours, available now through January 31.
The recent mid-Season 14 patch introduced various adjustments to heroes along with new cosmetics and functionalities. Among these changes is the initiation of the Min 1, Max 3 6v6 experiment, as well as exciting in-game activities themed around the Year of the Snake. Additional events, such as Overwatch: Classic and Valentine’s Day, are scheduled to commence shortly thereafter.
It’s noteworthy that players can collect these in-game items without even logging into Overwatch 2 directly. For those who meet the viewing requirements on Twitch until the end of January, they will unlock the Synthwave Lifeweaver Epic Skin after 2 hours and the Synth Lotus spray after 4 hours. To ensure successful delivery of these items, players must have their Battle.net and Twitch accounts linked. Once linked, players can easily retrieve their rewards from their in-game collections after claiming them on Twitch.
Steps to Claim Overwatch 2 Mid-Season 14 Twitch Drops

- To unlock the cosmetics, follow these steps:
- Link your Battle.net and Twitch accounts.
- Watch any Overwatch 2 streams on Twitch from now until January 31 at 11:58 AM PST.
- Earn the following rewards:
- After 2 hours: Synthwave Lifeweaver Epic skin
- After 4 hours: Synth Lotus Lifeweaver spray
Previously, the Synthwave Lifeweaver Epic skin and Synth Lotus spray were available in August 2023 as a bundled purchase option for 1200 Overwatch Coins, or in conjunction with the Synthwave Tracer bundle for 2500 Overwatch Coins. Curiously, a voice line dubbed ‘Sigh…’ that was part of the original bundle is notably absent from this Twitch Drop promotion.
Unfortunately, players who have already purchased the Epic Synthwave Lifeweaver skin will not benefit from this Twitch Drop offer. Although Blizzard has issued refunds in the past for some promotions, such as for the Own Guardian Mercy skin offered through Prime Gaming in 2023, they have not extended this policy to other offerings, including current Twitch Drops.
For players seeking additional complimentary cosmetics, they can participate in the ongoing Overwatch 2 Chinese New Year event, which runs until February 3. This event offers Year of the Snake-themed items, including player icons, name cards, sprays, and a Juno voice line. Additionally, the Valentine’s Day event will kick off the day after this event concludes, likely featuring another set of challenges and rewards. Notably, Overwatch 2 Season 15 is set to begin on February 18, and players can anticipate further Twitch Drop campaigns to mark the significant update.
