NVIDIA Expands GeForce NOW Library with 8 New Games; RTX 5080 Servers Launching Globally Soon

NVIDIA GeForce NOW Expands with New Game Releases and Enhanced Server Accessibility

As the week unfolds, NVIDIA continues to enhance its cloud gaming platform with another update to GeForce NOW. This Thursday introduces an exciting lineup of eight new games, along with an additional title now compatible with the advanced RTX 5080-powered Blackwell servers. These servers are on the verge of becoming globally available, representing a significant milestone in NVIDIA’s initiative to broaden access to premium gaming experiences.

New Games Make Their Debut

This week’s prominent entries feature exciting titles that are sure to attract attention. Notable among them are:

  • Demonschool – A highly anticipated indie game that channels the spirit of the Persona series.
  • Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault – Now in early access, this sequel promises to build on its predecessor’s success.
  • Prologue: Go Wayback! – A new survival experience from PUBG Productions that is finally making its way to players through early access.

These titles may differ from last week’s roster, yet they stand as compelling additions to the GeForce NOW library.

Star Wars Outlaws Enhanced with RTX 5080 Support

Among the new offerings, Ubisoft Massive’s Star Wars Outlaws stands out as the title receiving RTX 5080 support. Despite facing initial criticism, this game has undergone significant updates enhancing the player experience, particularly by smoothing out previously frustrating stealth missions. The visual quality of the game has already received praise, and with the power of NVIDIA’s RTX 5080 Blackwell servers, players can expect an even more captivating graphical experience.

Global Expansion of Blackwell Servers

Last week marked the introduction of RTX 5080 servers in Phoenix, bringing the total count of accessible regions closer to NVIDIA’s goal of worldwide availability. Currently, the only region yet to go live is Stockholm, which is expected to be operational soon. It’s essential to note that access to Blackwell servers is exclusive to players enrolled at the Ultimate tier of GeForce NOW.

Sean Haran, head of partnerships and licensing at 2K, highlighted the significance of this service: “With GeForce NOW Ultimate, top-tier streaming truly goes everywhere. Anyone can experience the glory of Borderlands 4, with breathtaking graphics and flawless gameplay powered by GeForce RTX 5080 servers, even without the latest devices. Jump into the cloud and play at high settings, whether you’re at home or on the move.”
