From a technical standpoint, the Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus is equipped with an architecture that includes 6 Performance cores (P-Cores) and 12 Efficient cores (E-Cores), marking an increase of four E-Cores beyond its predecessor, the Core Ultra 5 245K. Additionally, it features a boosted clock rate of 5.3 GHz, with a base frequency of 4.20 GHz, complemented by 30 MB of L3 cache and 6 MB of L2 cache, making it compatible with the latest LGA 1851 motherboards.

Performance benchmarks indicate that the Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus was tested on an ASUS PRIME Z890-P WIFI motherboard with 32 GB of DDR5 memory. It achieved scores of 3113 points in single-core performance and a substantial 15, 251 in multi-core tests. While these results are not earth-shattering, they represent a commendable refresh that sets a solid foundation for anticipated improvements in future testing.

As the release date approaches, the Intel Core Ultra 5 250K Plus, along with other models, has already begun to appear on various online retailers’ listings. Notably, this CPU generation will conclude the LGA 1851 platform before Intel transitions to the new LGA 1954 socket, which will support the upcoming Nova Lake CPUs expected to launch later this year.
