For macOS users, however, it is limited to one mirrored display unless you opt for the macOS/Windows hybrid model, which does support dual displays on both systems for an additional cost of about $30. This is a worthy investment for users who need multi-monitor setups on a Mac.
Another note of appreciation is the location of the HDMI ports, which are thoughtfully positioned at the back, helping to minimize cable clutter and keeping the workspace tidy.
Versatile Port Selection
The MOKiN DockPro PU1102 supports a broad array of connections with its 13-in-1 port offering, making it suitable for varied setups. Although using all ports simultaneously depends on the connected devices, the docking station offers a robust maximum output of 160W, ensuring efficient power distribution without issues.
The front of the device features six USB ports, conveniently arranged for easy access:
- 2 USB-C (10Gbps)
- 1 USB-A (10Gbps)
- 2 USB-C for charging
- 1 USB-A for charging
One of my favorite aspects is easily accessible USB ports in the front, allowing for quick connections without the hassle of reaching around to the back. Having experienced frustration with previous docking stations, this design innovation is refreshing.
The back is intended for devices that do not require frequent adjustment and includes:

- Host connection (20Gbps / 100W)
- USB-A (2.0 for wireless keyboard/mouse dongle)

Such a layout promotes an orderly workspace, reducing visible cable chaos. I recommend reviewing the user manual, which provides insight into various setups and average wattage consumption. However, I wish it were printed in a larger font, as the small text can be challenging to follow.
My only critique is the lack of an SD card reader; however, using a separate USB SD card reader makes this a non-issue.
User-Friendly Display
Monitoring the power consumption of connected devices is smooth with the built-in 2.26-inch LCD screen, which displays active port usage and overall wattage. This clear screen is easily readable even in bright conditions, alleviating any concerns about overloading the docking station.
The display toggles between port usage and total wattage; the latter is somewhat dimmer, making it less distracting in lower light situations.
Efficient Device Charging
As someone who frequently utilizes multiple devices, including phones and tablets, fast charging capability is critical. Thanks to the MOKiN DockPro, I can charge my devices quickly. With both phones on charge from 30% battery, they were fully powered in under an hour.
Even my older Chromebook, which struggles with battery life, remains charged when connected to a powered host port, in addition to accommodating my wireless peripherals and flash drive. During these tasks, total power consumption remained comfortably low, around 47 watts.
I was impressed by how cool the docking station remained under long usage, a stark contrast to other models that tend to heat up significantly.
Additionally, a USB-C cable is included for connecting your host device, further enhancing its usability.
Convenient Privacy Feature
A surprising yet valuable addition is the one-touch privacy button, a feature often overlooked. This small button functions similarly to a power option, instantly locking your computer when pressed. I successfully tested it with both my Chromebook and Windows PC.
While convenient, it may be less effective if the docking station is positioned far back on the desk.
