Online audiences have expressed their reactions after the hip-hop duo Insane Clown Posse publicly criticized Donald Trump while throwing their support behind Kamala Harris. With the United States Presidential election just days away, tensions are high as November 5 approaches.
During an October appearance on The Daily Show with comedian Troy Iwata, member Violent J shared his reasoning for choosing Harris over Trump, stating:
“I want her [Kamala Harris] to win because she’s a Democrat, and I love my mom.”
This segment took place at the Gathering of the Juggalos festival in Thornville, an event created by the band in collaboration with their record label, Psychopathic Records, back in 2000.
Addressing the former President’s controversial policies, including mass deportation and the construction of a substantial wall, Violent J didn’t hold back, expressing his discontent with a definitive ‘f*ck no.’
“Now I remember why I hated Trump – that wall shit,”he remarked. “F*ck him. Because he’s all about that wall.”
The rapper also made a point of learning how to pronounce the Democratic leader’s name correctly, calling her candidacy ‘fresh.’
Fans on X (formerly Twitter) humorously engaged with this discourse, poking fun at the Republican candidate while crafting witty remarks about the duo’s comments regarding Trump. Conversely, supporters of the GOP also chimed in with their own critiques of Insane Clown Posse. Some notable responses included:

On the other hand, some Republican users criticized the hip-hop artists.
“Clowns endorse clown, ok,”a netizen quipped on X.
“The part they don’t mention is that everybody voting for her is an insane clown,”noted another.
Besides discussing their voting preferences, Violent J and Iwata covered a range of topics, including taxes, abortion, and climate change.
Violent J of Insane Clown Posse Previously Criticized The Atlantic for Comparing Trump to the Band
Back in 2021, Violent J criticized The Atlantic for an opinion piece that likened Donald Trump’s exit from the White House to the Insane Clown Posse’s chaotic antics.
“It is ending in Juggalo style (some have called it “Trumpalo”), violently and pointlessly, with a handful of deaths, the smearing of various bodily fluids, and a riot on the way out.”
He condemned the article and its authors through a series of messages to the Huffington Post, stating:
“I can’t believe The Atlantic would hire a writer, presumably known for their journalistic expertise, who is so far off the mark, as well as an editor who clearly operates in a reality separate from our own when it comes to defining who Juggalos really are and what they represent.”
Violent J further criticized the broader media landscape, explaining how articles like this undermine his trust in the news.
