Trinket Locations Guide for Lost Soul Aside

Trinket Locations Guide for Lost Soul Aside

Announced as an action RPG influenced by both Final Fantasy XV (previously titled Versus XIII) and Devil May Cry, Lost Soul Aside has set high expectations for intense combat and a nuanced progression system. While the game certainly delivers on exhilarating combat mechanics, the RPG system is somewhat limited. Character development primarily revolves around a perpetual skill tree, weapon accessories, and the distinctive trinkets that define character capabilities.

Trinkets are available in various forms; some offer straightforward benefits like enhanced HP or stamina regeneration, while others provide rewards for adept gameplay, such as improved critical damage after executing a perfect dodge. For those keen on tailoring Kazer’s character build, it will be essential to leverage these trinkets effectively. To facilitate this process, I’ve curated a detailed guide enumerating the location of each trinket in Lost Soul Aside with clear, step-by-step instructions.

This guide is continually evolving. While I have diligently explored and completed the Boss Rush hard mode to gather trinkets, I’ve recently discovered that one trinket can only be obtained by conquering the Nightmare difficulty. Rest assured, I am actively working on uncovering its location!

Chapter 2: Imperial Capital

In Chapter 2, players can access two vendors within the Imperial Capital: the Weapons Vendor and the Bookkeeper. The Weapons Vendor’s inventory refreshes with each new chapter, while the Bookkeeper occasionally offers new trinkets for sale. Both vendors are conveniently located in the same area, prompting me to create a comprehensive table showing which trinkets they offer, along with their timing and effects.

Collecting all trinkets awards a trophy. It’s worth noting that in Hard Mode, players can rediscover and purchase each trinket anew, allowing for upgrades to their existing equipment. However, I remain unsure if the trophy requires finding every trinket.

Chapter 1: Mount Salvation

Bracelet of Mastery

Starting from Chapter 1, trinkets can be discovered in golden chests. I’ll layout their locations according to chapter, similar to my guide for finding every Document in Lost Soul Aside. After overcoming the Rose Queen, players will face a platforming challenge featuring three switches that manipulate the altitude of climbable supports.

Once you reach the center of the map and find a switch, press the one on the right to reveal a hidden chest once submerged underwater. Continue with the platforming challenge, and instead of heading directly to your objective, veer to the right. This will lead to a switch that opens gates back to the section’s beginning and the chest housing the Bracelet of Mastery.

GoldenLion’s Ring

Upon defeating WhiteCloud, you’ll encounter your first Dispersed Dimension in the adjoining room. This seemingly inactive portal can be activated by repeatedly striking it. One challenge within this dimension requires defeating all enemies in under 1.5 minutes to earn the GoldenLion’s Ring, a feasible goal for your inaugural attempt at this time threshold.

Chapter 2: Skycrest Badlands

Jade of WhiteCloud

In the Skycrest Badlands, post-defeating Victor, you’ll enter a running segment reminiscent of Subway Surfer gameplay (though I jest).Following this section, you’ll reach an area populated with monsters and a sub-boss. Once the sub-boss is vanquished, look for a chest in a corner near the bridge to claim the trinket.

Pendant of Thunder

Upon arriving in the open expanse of Skycrest Badlands, you will need to engage three monoliths to access the next path. One monolith, found further south, is protected by an electric golem boss. However, you can opt to bypass the encounter; I suggest taking it on instead, as I found this boss tougher than any prior.Defeating it will grant you the Pendant of Thunder. Utilizing ice weapons and potions to mitigate status ailments is advisable.

Bracelet of Nobility

As you push through Skycrest Badlands, you’ll encounter a peculiar area filled with jumping flowers and a complex water-transformation platforming puzzle. This section lacks a map, so continue cautiously. Eventually, you’ll reach a platform with two flowers flanking it.Jump on the left flower first to ascend to the next platform, where a purple orb awaits to unlock a door.

Then, return to the previous platform and use the right flower to approach the newly opened door. Inside, you’ll face monsters and discover a chest containing this trinket.

Bracelet of Valor

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Locations (17)

You will automatically receive this trinket upon defeating the Soul Devourer, the void creature who stole Louisa’s soul.

Gemstone Badge

After dispatching the Soul Devourer, consult your map to plot a course eastward. You will discover a golden chest containing this attractive trinket. I particularly value equipment that enhances resource gain.

Bracelet of Vanguard

Within the Buckhorn Palace area of Skycrest Badlands, you will encounter an imperial airship and confront its soldiers. Once you demonstrate your prowess, head east to find some Voidrax. Tucked away in a corner lies a golden chest. Alongside the chest, a document can also be found if you’re pursuing its associated trophy.

Pendant of Fusion

The expansive Buckhorn Palace can certainly be a bit daunting, so refer to the provided screenshots when navigating. Upon locating Liana in an open area, divert your attention rightward towards a water transformation device and leap to the adjacent platform near a jumping flower. Engage the Arena minigame to spawn structures, then mount the flower and take advantage of the transforming water to leap high towards the next platform.

This leads to a new space featuring more Voidrax. In the following room, there’s a Dispersed Dimension, and successfully completing its challenge grants you the Pendant of Fusion trinket. The challenge of avoiding damage can be quite formidable at this stage in the game, but remember, you can access the Dimension at any time by interacting with Liana after it is activated.

Eventually, you’ll acquire an Arena Power capable of negating up to 3 hits, simplifying this type of challenge considerably.

Chapter 3: Mistwood

Pendant of Grace

While progressing through Mistwood, you will eventually arrive at a devastated village besieged by Warrior Monks battling the Voidrax. Instead of following the main path, veering south will bring you to another Dispersed Dimension, where completing the challenge without incurring damage rewards you with the Pendant of Grace.

Ring of Continuity

The initial boss in Mistwood is Squall (also known as Leon). After defeating him, you’ll traverse a platforming section with the second boss unleashing fireballs. Upon traversing this area, continue along the single path available; instead of ascending the staircase indicated by the quest marker, you should explore an alcove tucked behind a crumbling wall to find a golden chest containing the trinket.

Pendant of Flame

Eventually, you will come across a flaming golem along the mandated route. Engaging this optional battle will only commence if you provoke the creature, which demonstrates it is merely defending itself. Victorious combatants will earn the Pendant of Flame.

Neverwind’s Pendant

This trinket is automatically collected upon vanquishing Master Neverwind.

Ring of Nature

The Ring of Nature serves as a reward for swiftly dispatching foes within the Dispersed Dimension found in the Neverwind Monastery.

Hegel’s Ring

Adjacent to the entrance of the Neverwind Monastery’s Dispersed Dimension is a small chamber that contains Hegel’s Ring in a chest.

Hegel’s Pendant

Once you overcome Torch, you’ll once again meet Master Neverwind and acquire the Aerial Dash ability. Before continuing with the main quest, head to a room at the north side of the building to discover this trinket.

Crimson Pendant

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Locations (42)

You will automatically receive this trinket after defeating Zana.

Ring of Dragon’s Roar

The location of this trinket may be somewhat convoluted, as it lies in an area where traditional map screenshots fall short. After besting Zana, she will lead you to the Secret Realm. Continue moving forward until you encounter a flower on your right side and a monster plant on your left. The monster lies along the path that should be ignored, while the flower leads to a bonus area.

Instead of ascending, you should drop down towards the flower. Turn left and drop again to discover a chest. A screenshot map should assist you in this endeavor, albeit minimally.

Chapter 3: Lethonix Dimension

Lethonix’s Ring

This trinket is automatically granted as you traverse the Lethonix Dimension.

Chapter 4: Frosthold Borderland

Ring of Confluence

After encountering Drogo, stick to the designated path. When you reach a wooden gatehouse, use a shack nearby for climbing support. Following this route leads to a Dispersed Dimension, where another challenge offers a trinket for completing it without taking damage.

You can also find a butterfly puzzle that rewards skill points in this section. Completing it will position you right in front of the Dispersed Dimension.

Azure Wolf Fang

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Locations (51)

This trinket is automatically acquired after defeating the Alpha Snow Wolf.

Ring of Fury

Following your battle with Drogo, you’ll return to a previously visited area, only this time the Storm-Wall is gone. Instead of heading north towards the main objective, venture south to uncover a chest containing the Ring of Fury.

Pendant of Frost

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Locations (54)

Unlike other elemental golems, you cannot escape the ice one along your designated path, necessitating its defeat in order to claim its trinket.

Jade of Martial Art

Upon defeating the Ice Golem, navigate through platforming sections using your Scythe. Eventually, you’ll arrive at a location with Liana. To your left, a series of wooden platforms will be visible. Jump onto these platforms to reach a rock platform, then utilize another Scythe grapple to ascend.

After interacting with a lever, a cellar door below will open. Descend through this passage to reach the Dispersed Dimension apparatus, where the Jade of Martial Art trinket awaits, granted for swiftly completing the challenge.

Jade of the Martial Saint

On your journey to the Coliseum, numerous cages can be observed. Pay attention to the one on your left that is moving up and down. By jumping onto it when raised, you will spot a chest contained within the cage ahead.

Chapter 4: Redstone Mines

Jade of the Instant

While exploring the Snow Crystal Mines, you will encounter an area where frigid air is blowing. Prolonged exposure will freeze you, sending you back to the entrance. Progress through the area, and you will spot a burrowing worm Voidrax to your right.Continue down this path, and you will find a chest at the end.

Ring of Fortune

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Locations (67)

This trinket is automatically collected after defeating the Giant Crab located in the Snow Crystal Mines.

Chapter 4: Royal Court of Frosthold

Celeste’s Emblem

At the Hall of Wisdom’s Top Floor, you’ll encounter a section with two consoles.Press the console on the right to rotate the platform, leading to a chest located at the top of the stairs.

Chapter 5: Clash of Fates

Ring of Supremacy

This trinket is automatically obtained upon defeating the White Phoenix.

Ring of Lording

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Locations (72)

This trinket is automatically acquired following your victory over Aramon.

Trinkets in Easy Mode

Although Lost Soul Aside lacks a traditional easy mode, the game will extend some favors if it detects frequent player deaths.

After dying multiple times, players will automatically receive Seleria’s Keepsake—or so I’ve been informed, as I never encountered it myself! This trinket amplifies damage dealt while reducing damage received. It disappears upon completing the game, meaning you’ll be without Seleria’s aid during your subsequent Hard or Nightmare playthroughs.

If you happen to keep finding yourself at the Game Over screen, you’ll be granted Seleria’s Keepsake II, which features stronger effects, and even Seleria’s Keepsake III for an easier time navigating challenges.

Boss Rush – Hard Mode

Lost Soul Aside - All Trinkets Hard Boss Rush
