During the men’s semifinal matches between Grigor Dimitrov and Alexander Zverev, as well as Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev, Serena Williams was spotted at the Miami Open. While Dimitrov put up a tough fight against the in-form German, Sinner easily defeated Medvedev, who is currently ranked as the World No. 4.

After their wins, the American met with the two winners, Dimitrov and Sinner. Serena praised Sinner’s performance and expressed her desire to have a forehand like the Italian’s.

“I wish I had my forehand like that.”

The reserved Sinner requested that she refrain from making such a statement, which seemed to suggest that Williams possessed an exceptional forehand.

“Don’t say that”

The American elaborated on why she deemed Sinner’s forehand to be extraordinary, citing his impressive racket speed and immense power.

“No seriously, the racquet speed, the power… you’re unbelievable.”
