The release of Minecraft Bedrock version 1.21.50.25 is now available for all compatible platforms. This update enhances the Pale Garden biome in preparation for the upcoming Winter Drop. It delivers numerous new features, alongside adjustments to the gameplay and balancing of various mobs and blocks within the game.
Below are some of the standout features and modifications in Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.25.
What are the notable features and changes in Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.25?
1) Eyeblossom Flower
The Eyeblossom is a newly introduced flower specifically for the Pale Garden biome. This distinctive flower exhibits a change in appearance based on the time of day; it remains closed and grey during daylight, then opens at night with a luminous orange glow. While it may aid in navigation through the biome, it lacks the potency to deter the creaking mob.
You can collect dyes from the Eyeblossom — obtaining grey dye by day and orange dye by night. Furthermore, incorporating this flower into suspicious stew can inflict blindness or nausea, depending on the variant used. Additionally, its toxicity to bees signals that it should be approached with caution.
2) Resin
Resin is another exciting addition to the Pale Garden in this update. This multi-faced block originates from Pale Oak trees and can only be collected upon damaging a creaking mob. It typically forms in clusters and can be crafted into resin blocks at a crafting bench.
These resin blocks serve as construction materials and can be processed into resin bricks for various uses, such as stairs, walls, and slabs.
3) Changes to the Creaking Heart
This update allows players to craft a creaking heart using resin. By placing a block of resin between two Pale Oak logs at the crafting table, players can spawn the creaking mob, providing a convenient method to farm this essential item.
Moreover, naturally occurring creaking hearts now yield between 20 to 24 experience points when harvested, even when collected using Silk Touch.
4) Alterations to Pale Garden Mechanics
The Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.25 update has introduced various changes to enhance features and behaviors within the Pale Garden. Notably, the night sky’s color has been refined to align with the Java Edition, contributing to a more uniform aesthetic.
Pale Oak saplings are now compostable, and the Pale Hanging Moss has been updated with audio effects similar to those of the other moss and Pale moss blocks, ensuring consistency. Additionally, the ambient sounds of the Pale Hanging Moss have been increased, enhancing the biome’s spooky atmosphere.
5) Adjustments to the Creaking Mob
The recent update has increased the speed of the creaking mob when under attack, along with amplifying the damage it inflicts. Upon destruction of a creaking heart, the linked creaking mob will now twitch for a brief period before crumbling away, resulting in a more lifelike experience. Its attack speed has also been adjusted for consistency with the Java Edition.
Moreover, alterations have been made to the creaking’s walking and attack animations, contributing to a more authentic and eerie feel. Additionally, a creaking spawned from a creaking heart will no longer avoid damage from blocks, and those created by commands or spawn eggs are now susceptible to fire and lava.
6) Enhancements to Blocks and Items
Version 1.21.50.25 of Minecraft Bedrock has implemented significant changes to improve player performance with existing blocks and mobs. Key items such as dispensers, blast furnaces, hoppers, cauldrons, smoke blocks, droppers, enchanting tables, and furnaces can now only break if a pickaxe is used.
Furthermore, the budding amethyst’s mining speed has been slowed down to reflect usage with improper tools. The update also fixes an issue that previously prevented shulker box colors from appearing in naming. Additionally, grass and nylium blocks now deteriorate into dirt and netherrack when placed below an observer.
7) Gameplay Improvements
Mojang continuously enhances gameplay with updates, and the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.25 is no exception.
The camera mechanics have been adjusted to rotate properly around both axes when players invoke the /camera command in-game. Additionally, a new animation for empty bundles was added, enhancing user experience during both first- and third-person perspectives.
8) User Interface Modifications
The user interface of Minecraft also received numerous updates in version 1.21.50.25.
The shield item’s size remains consistent when moved across inventory slots, and players can now collect crafting outputs directly into a bundle, allowing them to store crafted items within the bundle itself.
Changes to touch controls have been implemented, particularly benefiting Pocket Edition users. A bug that allowed interaction with boats during control customization has been fixed. An exciting new feature allows players to double-tap the “fly up”command to stop flying when using joystick mode, while the X button from the Command Block UI (when using gamepad controls) has been removed.
