The release of Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.26 has players buzzing with anticipation due to the exciting array of changes and updates it introduces. This version significantly enhances the upcoming Pale Garden biome, complete with its mysterious atmosphere. Players now have the opportunity to preview and engage with features slated for official launch through these experimental versions.
Below are the top five enhancements and features brought by the Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.26 beta and preview.
Top 5 Enhancements in Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.26 Update
1) New Offerings from the Wandering Trader
This latest update enhances the Wandering Trader’s inventory, now featuring Pale Oak saplings, Pale Moss blocks, and hanging Pale Moss. Players can trade their emeralds for these valuable new resources, reflecting Mojang’s step-by-step integration of the Pale Garden’s features as anticipation builds for the upcoming Winter Drop.
2) Revamped Pale Garden Environment
The Pale Garden has undergone various modifications in this update, with changes to the flammability of Pale Moss, Pale Moss carpets, and Pale hanging moss. While these materials ignite more swiftly, they now take longer to start burning, and lava can also set them ablaze. Additionally, the eerie eyeblossom flower has been upgraded to emit sounds when it opens and closes, enhancing the biome’s unsettling vibe. Placing an open eyeblossom on a Pale Moss block will also trigger sound effects.
The environmental sound mechanics for vines are now accurately represented, and the Pale Oak leaves have been updated to release falling leaf particles, greatly enriching the overall aesthetic of the Pale Garden biome.
3) Modifications to the Creaking Heart
The Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.26 update introduces important modifications to the creaking heart mechanism, a key method for spawning creakings and gathering the valuable new resin item. The range within which the heart can spread resin clumps has been decreased by one block, allowing these clumps to now only propagate to adjacent Pale Oaks or stripped logs connected to a creaking heart. This limitation facilitates a more straightforward approach for players to farm resin within the game.
4) Updates to the Creaking Behavior
The latest update also implements several behavioral changes to the creaking mob. The movement speed of non-hostile creakings has been slowed down, and attacks from tamed wolves will no longer prevent them from engaging with players. Moreover, a creaking can no longer move if only its feet are visible, or when immobilized in soul sand or mud. These mobs can now approach players who are looking down and will stop once they come into view.
Additionally, new sway animations have been introduced for creakings hit by projectiles, along with enhancements that refine attack animations for a more fluidicing experience.
5) User Interface Enhancements
The update of Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.50.26 beta and preview includes multiple significant adjustments to the user interface aimed at enhancing the overall gaming experience. Players can now select inactive buttons in the ‘Join friends’ menu, even with crossplay turned off. Moreover, the Dualsense gamepads now display accurate tooltip icons on mobile, making item information more accessible. The revisions extend to improved spacing on the Minecraft Realms stories and timeline pages.
Additionally, fixes were implemented for issues related to incorrectly rendered textures on the death and new bed screens when resource packs were enabled. Touch-enabled devices also benefitted from fixes, including resolving a bug that allowed boats to be interactable during control customization.
