Familiar faces like Chris Hemsworth and Paul Rudd are set to return, and it’s exhilarating to witness newer characters stepping into the spotlight.
This film promises plenty of surprising comebacks within the Marvel Universe. Let’s delve into the characters that particularly excite me and explore the reasons behind my enthusiasm!
Bob (Lewis Pullman)
My excitement for Lewis Pullman’s portrayal of “Bob” stems from my admiration for his talent. He is expected to portray Sentry—real name Robert “Bob” Reynolds—but we’ll have to hold off on certainty until *Thunderbolts* is released. Regardless, it’s thrilling to see Pullman join the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
We know his character survives *Thunderbolts* (which is reassuring), and the trailer hints at some intrigue, showing him with bullet holes in his shirt, suggesting he might not be in immediate peril. Watching Pullman alongside the Avengers will surely be a sight to behold.
Joaquin Torres (Danny Ramirez)
There’s a reason I placed Lewis Pullman and Danny Ramirez side by side: both actors from *Top Gun: Maverick* are bringing their talents to *Doomsday*.I have a keen interest in Joaquin Torres, especially if it leads to his character taking on the mantle of the Falcon.

The last we saw Loki, he was quite literally holding the fabric of time together! The reveal of Tom Hiddleston’s name on the cast list raises numerous questions about how he will navigate the timelines moving forward.
Regardless, I’m looking forward to seeing Loki showcase his growth and evolution, regardless of the twists that may arise.
Gambit (Channing Tatum)
As a passionate Gambit fan (I even have a tattoo in his honor), I was ecstatic to learn of Channing Tatum’s confirmed return to portray him in *Doomsday*.It feels like a long time coming!
