Prominent attorney Tony Buzbee has recently launched a new lawsuit against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, advocating for approximately 50 clients who allege they have been sexually assaulted and abused by him and his associates. This case is being represented by The Buzbee Law Firm in collaboration with Ava Law Group.

On his LinkedIn profile, Tony describes himself as a trial lawyer who has handled some of the nation’s most significant and high-profile legal cases. Among his notable clients is Governor Rick Perry.

On September 27, 2024, Tony Buzbee announced the lawsuit details through his official Instagram account. He stated:

“This group of courageous individuals includes both men and women; many were minors when the abuse occurred. Some reported the incidents to law enforcement, while others did not. Each individual story is gut-wrenching and heartbreaking.”

The post also referenced alleged sexual events referred to as “Freak-Offs,”with Buzbee expressing his expectation for accountability for those involved. He emphasized that his firm is honored to represent all individuals whose lives were adversely affected by Diddy and his associates.

“We plan to hold a press conference early next week where some of these stories will be shared as the nation begins to understand the potential breadth of this scandal. Our firm has consistently been at the forefront of crucial cases across the United States.”

The post concluded with a call for any other victims to reach out to Buzbee’s law firm, assuring them that their details would remain confidential.

Tony Buzbee’s Extensive Legal Experience

The Houston, Texas native comes from humble beginnings; his father was a butcher and worked in a high school cafeteria. Before making his mark in the legal field, Tony served as a Battalion Commander in the Corps of Cadets and established the Buzbee Leadership Learning Center.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Tony completed his higher education at Texas A&M University and the University of Houston Law Center. He also served in the Marine Corps, where he achieved top leadership accolades and participated in conflicts in the Persian Gulf and Somalia as an infantry officer.

In addition, Tony Buzbee rose to the rank of Recon officer within the Recon Company of the First Marine Regiment and received numerous awards, including the Navy Commendation Medal.

Beginning his full-time legal career in 1997, he served as a federal judge at the U.S. District Court. The next year, he joined Susman Godfrey LLP, where he practiced until 1999. Currently, he is the managing attorney at The Buzbee Law Firm, where he oversees:

“I manage more than 100 employees across two offices and supervise fifteen lawyers. Our team litigates more than fifty thousand cases at any given time.”

Tony Buzbee has also served as a member of the Board of Regents for the Texas A&M University System. This board is responsible for overseeing administrative functions and ensuring an optimal educational experience while promoting academic research.
