Despite facing a setback, the Czech remained determined and continued to perform well, reaching the quarterfinals at the Australian Open where she was defeated by eventual champion Aryna Sabalenka. In fact, she also achieved her second quarterfinal appearance of 2024 at the Abu Dhabi Open, but was unable to advance further after losing to Liudmila Samsonova.
The winner of the 2021 French Open had been scheduled to participate in the 2024 Dubai Tennis Championships, in which she was the reigning champion. However, she withdrew from the event due to a back injury. In an Instagram post, she revealed that she was also battling a severe flu, but assured her fans that she was recovering.
