After unlocking the Alptop Champion, you can track its location via the Data Hub’s menu.

To find this enemy, teleport to the Resonance Beacon in the Eidoscope region and move southwest. You will need to ascend some rocks to reach this unique Tacet Discord.

Enemy Overview

Similar to its predecessor, the Alptop Champion is an enhanced version of one of the enemies encountered in the overworld of Wuthering Waves. This enemy is akin to the Rocksteady Guardian, bringing unique moves and abilities that can inflict significant damage.

During battles, the Alptop Champion employs various attacks. If you maintain distance, it will jump and dive toward you, creating a damaging area of effect. When within close range, it can attack by swinging its rock shield arms, firing a laser from its core, and suddenly slamming its shield on the ground to unleash a wave of rocks that targets your position.

Understanding its attack patterns and dodging at the right moment is crucial, as a hit can severely deplete your health.

As an upgraded version of the Rocksteady Guardian, the Alptop Champion possesses increased resistance to Spectro damage. Therefore, it’s advisable to exclude any Spectro damage units like Jinhsi or the Spectro Rover from your team. Here are some effective team compositions against this enemy:

You can counterattack the Alptop Champion after it performs a certain attack, where it strikes the ground with its rock shield arm and summons a wave of rocks. Watch for the counterattack indicator around its arm, and time your attack accordingly.

Once you successfully counterattack this move, the enemy is likely to repeat it multiple times. This allows you to consistently counterattack, gradually wearing down its health and the white bar beneath it, eventually immobilizing it and making it vulnerable to your team’s full attack rotation.
