After sending the invite, your chat will display an Invite sent card. Your friend must Accept for the streak to commence.

Once both parties are on board, you must exchange at least one message daily to maintain your chat streak. You will notice a pet icon appearing in an egg form within your conversation, which you can freely move around.

By consistently messaging your friend for three consecutive days, you’ll successfully hatch your pet. A notification will pop up, acknowledging your streak accomplishment. Don’t forget to share this moment by tapping the Post to Story button.

TikTok will create a Story featuring your achievement, which can be customized with stickers, music, or text. Simply select Your Story to share it.

This action will lead you to a dedicated page displaying how many days you have sustained your streak, information also visible next to your friend’s TikTok username in the chat.

To change your pet’s name, click the three dots at the top right corner and select Edit Name.

If you seek to hasten your pet’s growth, you can boost your points by:

Each sharing two posts in the chat
Sending a total of 10 messages daily

It’s important to note that your virtual pet doesn’t need to remain in the chat for your streak to continue. If you prefer not to display the pet, simply tap it, access the pet screen, click the three dots, and choose to Hide Pet from chat.

Removing the Streak Pet will automatically withdraw it from your friend’s chat as well.
