- The upcoming expansion, Wilds of the Talandre, is set to launch on March 6, introducing a wealth of new content.
Throne and Liberty has taken a significant step forward by enabling mouse and keyboard compatibility for console players. Both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users can now enjoy the game using these peripherals, providing a more tailored gameplay experience similar to that of PC players.
Initially launched in South Korea in December 2023, Throne and Liberty saw its official introduction in North America, Europe, and Japan on October 1, 2024, following a brief early access phase. This early access generated impressive engagement statistics, boasting nearly 55, 000 peak concurrent players, reflecting a solid interest in the MMORPG within the gaming community. With the first expansion on the horizon, anticipation is building.
The forthcoming expansion, Wilds of the Talandre, scheduled for release on March 6, will feature an extensive array of new content including fresh zones, bosses, and events, alongside enhancements to the weapon mastery system. An update that occurred overnight on February 5-6, however, has already brought critical adjustments to the game, focusing primarily on bug fixes and gameplay improvements.

This update is poised to create a more equitable environment for cross-platform play in Throne and Liberty. The game supports ongoing crossplay, and while some players prefer utilizing a traditional controller, others argue that the accuracy of a mouse and the extensive key options offered by a keyboard enhance the MMORPG experience.
