NCSoft has launched its inaugural Throne and Liberty update for 2025, focusing on player satisfaction with notable quality-of-life upgrades and various bug resolutions. Furthermore, as a gesture to the community, the Startree Solstice Pass Point Shop has been extended through January 16, allowing players to redeem remaining Shop Points.

Since its debut, Throne and Liberty has captivated many gamers, achieving a peak of 54,812 concurrent users before its official release. Although experiencing some technical glitches, the game’s character progression system and engaging features have received praise from players. To counter these challenges, NCSoft has deployed a patch designed to rectify issues alongside new content for seasonal events like Halloween and Christmas. As the new year unfolds, NCSoft is actively responding to community feedback to refine gameplay.

The recent update 1.12.0 introduces significant enhancements to the combat mechanics. The user interface adjustments allow for an improved display of beneficial effects for party members, aiding visibility during engagements. Moreover, combat presets are presented more clearly, facilitating easier adjustments by players. Additional combat enhancements address damage reflection in specific Throne and Liberty dungeons and Dimensional Trials, while the automatic targeting feature for party members has been disabled to streamline combat interactions.

Adventurers exploring the Saurodoma Island dungeon should note that if a token selection box is not claimed within 24 hours, it will expire. Additionally, a notification will now appear for players attempting to consume Training Dew while wielding a weapon that has reached maximum mastery, informing them that further experience points will not apply to that weapon. Furthermore, map enhancements are implemented to improve the visibility of region details, along with various other UI changes, such as inventory updates and refined chat functionalities.

Beyond the major improvements, this update addresses numerous other issues, enhancing search capabilities on consoles, fixing non-target skill performance, and resolving various Battle Pass concerns.
