Regian Eersel predicts a tough battle against French opponent Alexis Nicolas in the ring

Ever since the beginning, nobody has been able to replicate Regian Eersel’s fight-ending offense in ONE Championship.

Eersel’s extensive experience with 65 career bouts has equipped him with the skills to face a wide range of strikers in both kickboxing and Muay Thai. This is evidenced by his long-standing reign as a world champion under the ONE banner.

It’s evident that he excels at handling pressure and effectively utilizes his natural height and reach to his advantage. Additionally, Eersel holds the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title and has successfully defended his kickboxing championship in both disciplines, solidifying himself as the most formidable opponent in any form or style of competition.

Although eager to face a different type of striker in Alexis Nicolas, ‘The Immortal’ has concerns that Nicolas may struggle to match his pace.

In an interview with ONE, the 31-year-old experienced fighter stated:

“My biggest advantage I think is my experience, my pressure going forward, and my aggression. I think he will struggle with that. I would say I’m a different kind of fighter. I am really going to put the pressure on him, and he will feel it.”
