The proprietor of Garam Coffee Roasters, located in South Korea, recently had a memorable encounter with BTS’ RM. On September 26, 2024, the cafe’s owner disclosed that the idol had paid a visit to their establishment and signed one of their coffee cups.

As per the cafe’s Instagram post, Namjoon mentioned that he frequently patronizes their shop and commended the owner for the wonderful job they were doing. The owner humorously admitted that they forgot to offer him a complimentary dessert due to their excitement.

Fans quickly took to social media to praise RM for his humility and kindness. Many noted that the coffee shop is likely to become a popular stop for BTS admirers.

“Now that place is gonna be a tourist spot,” a fan expressed their eagerness to visit the cafe.

RM Visits a Cafe During His Military Service

The owner of Garam Coffee Roasters explained in an Instagram post that RM mentioned visiting their cafe often, but the owner had never recognized him. After initially missing what he said, Namjoon kindly repeated it twice.

While sharing the picture of Namjoon’s signed coffee cup, the shop owner described him as articulate and charming.

This incident has resonated with many BTS fans, who have shared this story across their social media platforms. According to Garam Coffee Roasters’s Instagram stories, several fans visited the cafe, leaving behind photocards of Namjoon as tokens of appreciation for the star.

Kim Namjoon is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service in the South Korean army, having enlisted on December 11, 2023. He is anticipated to be discharged on June 10, 2025, suggesting that his visit to the coffee shop happened on a rare day off from military duties.

Additionally, Namjoon’s second studio album, “Right Place, Wrong Person,”was released on May 24, 2024. His documentary titled “RM: Right People, Wrong Place,”which chronicles the process of creating the album, is slated to premiere at the 2024 Busan International Film Festival.
