Superbon Singha Mawynn, a former ONE world champion, is confident that Stamp Fairtex will emerge victorious in her upcoming first defense of the ONE atomweight MMA world championship later this year.

Stamp will make her long-awaited return to the Circle on Friday, June 7, nine months after her stunning third-round body shot knockout victory over Ham Seo Hee at ONE Fight Night 14, where she claimed the vacant atomweight MMA title. She will defend her 26-pound gold against Denice Zamboanga in the main event of ONE 167.

Superbon shared his thoughts on the highly anticipated atomweight clash, stating that Stamp vs. Zamboanga will be an intriguing fight given their close relationship in the gym. He expressed confidence that his fellow countrywoman will emerge victorious and successfully defend her MMA title for the first time.

“Yeah, it will be a cool fight because they train together,”he told the South China Morning Post. “They know each other well. The fight will be good because they know each other’s techniques well, but I think Stamp will win.”

As Stamp Fairtex prepares for her highly anticipated fight against ‘The Menace’ at Bangkok’s Impact Arena, Superbon is also on the verge of regaining his ONE world champion title.
