“There’s more to come” – Strawweight Muay Thai king Prajanchai says two-sport coup could lead to bigger dreams

Prajanchai PK Saenchai sees a potential victory against Jonathan Di Bella at ONE Friday Fights 58 as a crucial moment in his journey as a top striker.

The ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion has the potential to become the next two-sport superstar for the promotion if he manages to defeat the current kickboxing champion at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium on Friday, April 5th.

Despite the fact that others may view it as a crowning achievement, the modest athlete from Bangkok believes it will provide him with the opportunity to embark on a new chapter in his 15-year career.

Prajanchai, in an interview with Sportsmanor, discussed the potential impact a win would have on his legacy on an international level.

The affiliate of PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gym declared:

“If I win and become a two-sport world champion, people might call me a legend or what. But I think there’s more to come as I’m still very young in my career.”

Prior to fully embracing the moment, the martial artist, who has dedicated his life to the sport, is aware that he must not overlook his opponent’s qualifications as they face off in the epicenter of Muay Thai.

Ever since joining the world’s largest martial arts organization, Di Bella has maintained a perfect record in his career. He has achieved impressive victories over Danial Williams and Zhang Peimian, which have only increased the challenger’s anticipation for an intense battle on April 5.

Superbon predicts success for Prajanchai at ONE Friday Fights 58

Superbon will be closely watching the Thai fighter’s attempt to win the world title against Di Bella, before he takes on Marat Grigorian in the main event of the stacked bill. He will be competing for the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing gold.

The founder of Superbon Training Camp has a vision of a chess match between the two reigning division champions, but he believes that his fellow countryman will emerge victorious in his pursuit of excelling in two sports.

Previously, Superbon had informed ONE Championship.

“Prajanchai has good Muay Thai, and I think he is good with his hands too. So it’s interesting. But I would say Prajanchai would win in this fight.”
