The Voice Season 26 Episode 3 Contestants: Coaches’ Team Selections Revealed

The third episode of season 26 of The Voice debuted on NBC on October 7. Coach Gwen Stefani made her memorable return alongside the season’s champion Coach Reba McEntire, joined by fresh faces in the coaching lineup, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé.

This third episode served up a delightful blend of humor, heartfelt narratives, and remarkable vocal talent during The Blind Auditions Part 3, resulting in nine contestants securing spots on the teams of the esteemed coaches.

Joining Team Bublé were Edward Preble and Jeremy Beloate, while Jaylen Dunham and Frankie Torres decided to align with Team Gwen. Creigh Riepe, Adam Bohanan, and Tate Renner chose to join Team Reba, while Team Snoop welcomed the duo, Georgia Starnes and MisterMoon.

Recap of The Voice Season 26 Episode 3

One standout contestant from episode 3 was 21-year-old Georgia Starnes, who captivated the coaches with her interpretation of Sam Smith’s “Too Good At Goodbyes,”prompting all four to turn their chairs. She ultimately chose Team Snoop, appreciating his understanding of her artistic vision.

The Nashville-based folk duo, Mistermoon, impressed with their performance of Kacey Musgrave’s “Deeper Well,”earning seats from both Reba and Snoop. They opted to join Snoop, believing that his diverse musical experiences would greatly benefit their journey.

Edward Preble, affectionately known as Baby Bublé, initially expressed a desire to join Snoop after his performance of “Luck Be a Lady,”but later switched his allegiance to Michael Bublé.

In an emotional moment, 32-year-old Creigh Riepe from Nashville shared his journey of overcoming alcoholism while chasing his dreams. His rendition of Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things”earned him a spot on Team Reba.

However, not all performances resulted in successful placements. Contestants such as Tiffany Taylor, who sang Billie Eilish’s “What Was I Made For,”and Malcolm-Ali failed to impress the coaches and left empty-handed.

Gwen Stefani utilized the Coach Replay Button for the 14-year-old Jaylen Dunham, who struggled to make a mark initially. Thanks to Gwen’s intervention, Dunham ultimately secured a position on Gwen’s team.

The episode wrapped up with 24-year-old Frankie Torres delivering a rendition of “Magic Man”by Heart, leading to all four coaches turning their chairs. Reba was particularly taken with his performance and even allowed him to hold her trophy from the previous season, yet Torres decided to join Team Gwen.
