The Voice Season 26: Eliminations from Battles Round 2 – Complete Details Explored

The eighth episode of The Voice season 26 aired on October 22 on NBC, featuring the return of Reba McEntire, the coach who triumphed in Season 25, alongside Gwen Stefani. Joining them were newcomers Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé, both excited to share their expertise.

This episode spotlighted the second phase of the Battle Rounds, where contestants from each coach’s team performed against their teammates. Those who triumphed advanced to the next stage, while the others had to exit the competition.

Mark Shiiba and Jeremy Beloate faced elimination from Team Bublé. Team Gwen saw Frankie Torres leave, although she was subsequently stolen by Team Reba. Kevin James Graham was shown the door from Team Reba, while Team Snoop bid farewell to MisterMoon and Suede Lacy.

Eliminated Contestants from Battles Round 2

Team Bublé: Mark Shiiba and Torion Sellers

Coach Bublé paired Edward Preble with Mark Shiiba, capitalizing on their contrasting musical styles. They performed Louis Armstrong’s iconic song, What a Wonderful World.

Shiiba had previously benefited from Bublé’s Coaches’ Replay, giving him another shot in The Voice. However, during Battles Round 2, Bublé ultimately selected Preble for advancement.

The next battle in Team Bublé featured Torion Sellers and Jeremy Beloate, who sang Just The Way You Are. Beloate emerged victorious, progressing to the next round.

Team Reba: Kevin James Graham

The battles continued with Reba McEntire’s soul singers, Kevin James Graham and Adam Bohanan, as they showcased their talents. Reba recognized that only one of them could stay if she aimed for victory this season.

Assigned the challenging song Lose Control by Teddy Swims, Graham struggled with the track’s high demands, while Bohanan’s natural flair helped him shine beyond his usual range, leading to Graham’s elimination.

Team Snoop: MisterMoon and Suede Lacy

Snoop paired ChrisDeo and MisterMoon to explore their distinctive vocal styles, challenging them with Amy Winehouse’s Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, a song that pushed both artists’ limits.

ChrisDeo was declared the winner of this battle, while MisterMoon exited without any steals.

In the next battle, Suede Lacy faced Torre Blake, and after a soulful rendition of What You Won’t Do For Love, it was Blake who secured the victory.
