The Voice Fans Split Opinions on Trio 323’s Blind Auditions Performance – “Good, but Not Great”

The Voice Season 26, Episode 2, titled Blind Auditions Part 2, premiered on Monday, September 30. This episode featured a plethora of stunning performances, including a standout moment from a 61-year-old contestant and a group performance by a trio.

The trio, known as 323, comprised Jacob, Kinsley, and Jonathan, who delivered a captivating rendition of Britney Spears’ “(You Drive Me) Crazy.”Their performance impressed two of the four coaches, Reba McEntire and Michael Bublé, ultimately leading them to choose Reba McEntire as their coach.

However, not all fans of The Voice shared the same enthusiasm for their performance. Similar to the coaches’ reactions, viewers exhibited a divided response regarding 323’s skills and presentation. Many took to X to express their criticisms, while others offered praise and support.

Conversely, some The Voice fans showed solidarity with the trio, expressing admiration for their performance on X.

“323, a trio, had a lovely opening harmony into solos and duets; a nice variety. Interesting arrangement that allowed each member to shine. Pretty good,”said one user.

Trio 323’s Performance on The Voice Season 26, Episode 2

323’s performance was one of many dynamic acts featured in Episode 2 of The Voice Blind Auditions Part 2, but their uniqueness as a trio combined with their song selection made them particularly memorable.

Jonathan, Kinsley, and Jacob are from Tallahassee, Florida. The three friends connected through their church and decided to form a band, choosing to blend pop and country genres for their debut performance on the show with their rendition of Britney Spears’ “(You Drive Me) Crazy.”

Reba McEntire was the first coach to turn her chair for the trio, leading viewers to believe she would secure the group. However, Michael Bublé made a surprise turn at the last minute.

Reba expressed that she turned for 323 because they reminded her of her own experiences in a singing group and praised their “tight”harmonies. Michael added that their harmonies created a beautiful sound, with Reba afterwards expressing her desire to perform with them.

After their heartfelt performance and receiving accolades from both chair-turning coaches, the trio faced the challenging decision of selecting their coach, ultimately choosing the legendary Reba McEntire.
