The upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds open beta starts next week on PS5, Xbox, and PC (Steam)
Capcom is set to offer gamers an exclusive opportunity to experience a preview of its much-anticipated fantasy action-RPG, Monster Hunter Wilds. Recently, the company announced an upcoming open beta test for this title, which will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms.
According to a statement posted on the official game website, the open beta will allow players to utilize the character creation feature and partake in the introductory cinematic, along with two thrilling monster hunts. Participants can engage in the Chatacabra hunt, where they will receive helpful tutorials. The second challenge involves battling the formidable alpha of the Doshaguma pack. Capcom added:
Players can activate an SOS Flare during both quests. This feature lets users collaborate with others online or call for assistance from NPC Support Hunters—up to three can join your party simultaneously. Crossplay functionality also allows you to connect with gamers across varying platforms in multiplayer mode.
PlayStation 5 users subscribed to PlayStation Plus will have early access to the Monster Hunter Wilds beta, which runs from Monday, October 28 at 8 PM Pacific (5 PM Eastern) until Wednesday, October 30 at 7:59 PM Pacific (4:59 PM Eastern).
Following that, all players on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (on Steam) can join in the open beta beginning Thursday, October 31 at 8 PM Pacific (5 PM Eastern) through Sunday, November 3 at 6:59 PM Pacific (3:59 PM Eastern).
