Doom May Be Powerful, But Even He Is Vulnerable to This Ancient Sword

The artifact discovered by the Fantastic Four, known as the Doomblade, is revealed by Doom as “the one magical weapon that could hurt me.”Emerging from the 1300s, its whereabouts remained elusive even to the cunning Doom, prompting him to enlist the Fantastic Four under false pretenses. By manipulating Reed Richards’ intellect to further his own sinister agenda, he seizes control of the weapon only to obliterate it, thus eliminating a critical means for his defeat. This blunder not only empowers Doom but also signifies a monumental loss for Marvel’s heroes in their ongoing struggle against him.
Doctor Doom has grown stronger than ever, making the Doomblade the last hope for Marvel’s heroes to thwart his schemes before they come to fruition. He recently ascended to the position of Sorcerer Supreme in Blood Hunt #4, usurping Doctor Strange and granting him access to boundless magical capabilities. With the impending One World Under Doom event looming, the urgency for the Fantastic Four to devise a strategy against Doom has intensified. Regrettably, the destruction of the Doomblade has dire consequences for the fate of the Marvel Universe.

With the annihilation of the Doomblade, the Fantastic Four have squandered their golden opportunity to counter Doom’s ambitions. As Doom consolidates his power as Marvel’s newest Sorcerer Supreme, he edges closer to becoming an insurmountable threat. The Fantastic Four now faces the daunting challenge of formulating a new approach to confront Doctor Doom, as their previous means of victory has been rendered obsolete.
