The Undertaker reveals the ways current WWE star helped him in his career

Despite being one of the most enigmatic figures in WWE, The Undertaker’s retirement from in-ring competition has allowed fans to see a different side of him. He now regularly makes appearances and has even launched his own podcast. During the latest episode, the wrestling icon had only positive things to say about a former colleague.

On his podcast “Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway,”The Undertaker was questioned about his thoughts on Paul Heyman, to which he responded with high praise for the seasoned veteran. He spoke highly of Paul’s skills as a manager and shared how the former ECW leader played a significant role in his journey to WWE.

“He was such an advoate for me in the sense of getting me to Bruce who would eventually get me to Vince and that whole thing but you know, he was a little better off than I was, I wasn’t making any money, a lot of times he would just pick up the rental car instead of us splitting it or he would help me out when he could but the biggest, you know, obviously the biggest contribution on my part was just that connection to get me out of WCW,”said The Undertaker (2:21-3:03)

The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak: Did He Want Bray Wyatt to End It?

Despite being one of the most shocking moments in wrestling history, The Undertaker’s undefeated streak at WrestleMania was ultimately ended by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30. Despite this, many fans felt that Lesnar’s victory was unnecessary and it appears that The Dead Man shares this sentiment.

Recently, he disclosed that it would have made more sense for Bray Wyatt to be the one to break his streak, as it would have greatly benefited his career compared to Roman Reigns or Lesnar.

“The most logical person to break it would have been Bray Wyatt. Probably of the three, it would have meant more to his career than even Roman’s,”he said.

‘Taker believed that if Bray’s character had defeated his legendary streak, it would have greatly enhanced the late superstar’s credibility and potentially elevated him to even greater success in the industry.
