Standout Players and Betrayals
This season introduced us to two extraordinary players, Minah and Charlotte, who both showcased their strategic prowess throughout the competition. Among the two, I found myself rooting for Minah, who initially embodied the ideal Traitor by navigating the game without attracting much suspicion. However, her trusting nature ultimately proved to be her undoing as she heavily relied on Charlotte, her fellow Traitor, who exploited their alliance.
Minah had no reason to suspect that Charlotte would betray her, yet in a shocking turn of events, Charlotte cast the pivotal banishment vote against her ally. While this left fans divided—some expressing support for Minah, a fan favorite—others acknowledged Charlotte’s impressive gameplay. Even Charlotte’s attempt at a Welsh accent, seemingly unnecessary, played in her favor, showcasing the layered tactics within the game.

Unexpected Developments After Minah
Following Minah’s untimely exit, Charlotte sought to bolster her position by recruiting Freddie, a somewhat naïve contestant who struggled to make an impact, resulting in his quick ousting from the game. Consequently, this left Charlotte, former diplomat Alexander, interior designer Frankie, project manager Jake, and ex-soldier Leanne as the final contenders. While Alexander gained a considerable fan base, Leanne’s polarizing demeanor often led viewers to view her with disdain.
LOVE that Alexander’s theory was based on Leanne’s bizarre, divisive behaviour when actually she was just naturally annoying #TheTraitors

Climactic Moments and Game Mechanics
In a pivotal moment during the penultimate episode, Frankie was granted a unique gameplay feature—she became a Seer, allowing her to determine the identities of either a Traitor or a Faithful player. Tragically, her choice of Charlotte backfired spectacularly; not realizing Charlotte was the last remaining Traitor, Frankie was manipulated into appearing untrustworthy. This audacious gambit turned many viewers against Charlotte as the tension escalated, concluding with her eventual elimination.
the way Charlotte still thinks the bad fake Welsh accent is key to her success is my favourite running plotline of the series.#TheTraitors #Traitors

Finale and Its Aftermath
As the finale unfolded, the remaining group consisted of Alexander, Leanne, Frankie, and Jake. I personally favored Alexander for victory, echoing sentiments from numerous fans. However, in a surprising twist, he faced elimination, further fueling my frustration. Leanne and Jake’s paranoia ultimately led to Frankie’s ousting, allowing them to walk away with the grand prize, yet stirring controversy among viewers. Leanne, having a reputation as one of the less-liked contestants, incited feelings of resentment as she claimed victory.
Reactions to the finale remain mixed. Some fans criticize the introduction of the Seer mechanic, believing it may have altered the natural progression of the game, allowing Charlotte a path to win that might not have existed otherwise. Nevertheless, I found this season to be a thrilling ride filled with memorable moments—from Charlotte’s shocking betrayals to Claudia Winkleman’s unforgettable commentary. Overall, this season of The Traitors has undeniably solidified its standing as one of the most captivating shows on television.
