The Touryst Deluxe Launches Next Week on Nintendo Switch 2, Features 4K@60 FPS in Docked Mode

Shin’en Games Announces Release of The Touryst Deluxe for Nintendo Switch 2

This coming September 25, German independent developer Shin’en Games is set to launch The Touryst Deluxe digitally for the Nintendo Switch 2. Priced at $19.99, the game is now available for pre-order via the Nintendo eShop. Notably, players who own the original The Touryst on the standard Switch will have the opportunity to upgrade to the Deluxe version for just $4.99.

What’s New in The Touryst Deluxe?

The Touryst Deluxe introduces several enhancements over its predecessor, which debuted on Switch in late 2019 before later expanding to PC and console platforms, including PlayStation and Xbox. Some key features of the Deluxe version include:

  • A brand new arcade game
  • Additional items and quests
  • Enhanced visual graphics

For those looking to play in ‘docked’ mode, expect stunning 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Meanwhile, handheld mode also boasts impressive performance, running at 1080p at the same frame rate. It’s worth mentioning that the game isn’t particularly demanding; it was able to achieve 4K on the Xbox Series S back in 2020.

Import Your Progress Easily

In an exciting convenience for existing players, Shin’en has confirmed that users will have the ability to import their save data from the original The Touryst, making the transition to the Deluxe version seamless.

Discover the Adventure

Here’s a glimpse into the vibrant world of The Touryst, as described by the developers:

You are just arriving at the Monument Islands. Want to go swimming? Or rather take a dive into the deep sea? Or do you want to visit the amusement arcade, do some shopping, dance at the beach party? Fancy some surfing? Or will you talk with the strange old tourist and listen what he has to say about these ancient mysterious monuments..

Your adventure will include:

  • Exploring exotic islands and ancient monuments
  • Diving into deep mines to uncover secret passages
  • Living the dream and enjoying the tourist lifestyle

Shin’en’s Continued Contributions to Nintendo Switch 2

The Touryst Deluxe marks Shin’en’s second release for the Nintendo Switch 2, following their launch title FAST FUSION, which similarly features 4K resolution and runs at 60 frames per second with HDR support.
