The Sims 4 marks its 25th anniversary with two major updates featuring a refreshed main menu and an extensive collection of over 70 new in-game items.
New content includes redesigned townie homes, three unique kits, and an engaging Blast From The Past event, offering nostalgic rewards inspired by the 2000s, such as a vintage telephone and an alarm clock.

Updates scheduled for January 14 and February 4.

The second update on February 4 will unveil over 70 new in-game items, highlighting additional CAS options and new hairstyles. Players will enjoy expanded customization possibilities with new baby hair, facial hair, and a variety of clothing additions, including turtlenecks, bodysuits, jackets, jeans, and bike shorts. Furthermore, new build-buy items such as windows, doors, and kitchen cabinetry details will enhance construction creativity.

In conjunction with the new items, fans can look forward to the Blast From The Past event that will introduce themed quests in Live Mode, rewarding players with nostalgic items from the 2000s, including classic telephones and alarm clocks.

As in prior updates, players can expect significant performance boosts, including refined mouse responsiveness and enhanced graphical rendering for PlayStation 4 and Mac users, alongside various memory improvements across all platforms. Issues affecting fullscreen compatibility, DirectX 11 performance, and other pack-related problems have also been addressed.
