“The Signs Were There!” – Internet Reacts to Yung Filly’s Moments with Chunkz Saying “I’ve Heard Too Many Stories” in Resurfaced Clip

Rapper and social media influencer Yung Filly is currently facing serious allegations of sexual assault in Australia. He was apprehended in Brisbane on Tuesday, October 8, and subsequently appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday, October 10.

During this court session, while the charges against him were read, Yung Filly did not submit any plea, as reported by the Independent on October 10. In the midst of these developments, an old interview featuring Yung Filly and his friend Chunkz began circulating again on social media.

In this resurfaced interview, Chunkz humorously remarked:

“I wouldn’t let you marry into my family, by the way.”

When Yung Filly inquired why, asserting his good character, Chunkz replied:

“Nah. I’ve heard too many stories.”

Once the clip gained traction, netizens flocked to comment sections, linking Filly’s current issues to the past conversation, speculating whether Chunkz had always harbored doubts about Filly’s conduct. One user proclaimed that the “signs were there” from the beginning.

“The signs were there!! Pay attention, everyone,” a user commented.

Other commenters echoed similar sentiments, suggesting Chunkz was aware of potential issues surrounding Filly. One user even stated that now more people are aware of what Chunkz has known.

“Ohh nahh HE KNEW,” another user noted.

“These clips did not age well for Yung Filly,” remarked yet another.

“We know everything that Chunkz knows,” another commented.

Conversely, several users criticized Chunkz for allegedly being aware of Filly’s problematic behavior yet choosing to support him or remain silent. One user expressed that Chunkz should be “ashamed” of his actions.

“Men will know their friends are r*pists, ped*philes, and still stay friends for years with them,” a user voiced.

“If Chunkz, Harry, etc., knew Filly was a r*pist, they are guilty by association in my eyes. Watch them all exhibit the same behavior as Filly,” another user wrote.

“If Chunkz knew and kept quiet, he should feel ashamed,” one netizen commented.

Yung Filly Released on Bail with Strict Conditions

In the wake of allegations of rape and strangulation of a woman in his Perth hotel room on September 28 during his tour, Yung Filly has recently been granted bail. Following his show in Perth, he allegedly assaulted a woman in her twenties.

After kicking off his tour in Perth, he performed in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane before being taken into custody in Brisbane. He is facing three charges of assault resulting in bodily harm along with four counts of sexual penetration without consent.

Furthermore, the allegations include that he applied pressure to the woman’s neck, which impeded her blood circulation and ability to breathe. The police contested his bail request during his Thursday appearance at Perth Magistrates Court.

Nonetheless, Magistrate Tanya Watt approved his bail under strict conditions that include prohibiting him from contacting the alleged victim, leaving the state, and disclosing any case-related information to his large online following.

According to the PA news agency, the British artist must also stay in Western Australia, report to police daily, and provide a personal guarantee amounting to 100,000 Australian dollars (£52,000) in addition to the previously mentioned conditions.

In addition, Wales Online reported on October 11 that the Government of Western Australia has emphasized that the “investigation is ongoing,”urging anyone with information regarding this matter or similar incidents to come forward.

The next hearing for the case is set for December 19 at 9:30 a.m. at Perth Magistrates Court. As of now, neither Yung Filly nor his representatives have released any statements regarding the situation.
