“The schedule’s been all over the place” – Tye Ruotolo says he and Kade have barely rested in training camp for ONE Fight Night 21

Both Kade and Tye Ruotolo have been pushing themselves to the limit in preparation for their upcoming returns at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in 2024.

At ONE Fight Night 21, the two brothers and accomplished grapplers will make their comeback and compete together on the same card in Bangkok, Thailand.

Despite Kade making his second appearance of the year in a catchweight fight, Tye is preparing to defend his welterweight submission world championship title for the first time.

Prior to his upcoming fight against Izaak Michell on April 5, Tye expressed his thoughts on the hectic year that both brothers have experienced. Without any breaks in between their matches, they have been continuously training and preparing for this important date.

Tye Ruotolo informed CountFilms TV during fight week that their persistent strategy has kept them tirelessly working every day leading up to April 5.

“The camp was just me training with my brother, he did a lot of gi stuff, you know, coming into this. So we’ve been busy, honestly, the schedule’s been all over the place. We just know at the end of the day, it’s just all mental. As long as we’re feeling physically ready and then mentally prepared then we’re on.”
