The Rock suffering an injury ahead of major WrestleMania XL match due to his physical shape is possible, says veteran

Stevie Richards, a seasoned wrestler, predicts that The Rock might sustain an injury during Night One of WrestleMania XL, just before the Undisputed WWE Universal Title match on Night Two.

The Brahma Bull is making his highly anticipated return to the ring after an eight-year absence. He will join forces with his cousin, the undefeated WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, to face off against Cody Rhodes and the reigning World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in an epic tag team match on the first night of the annual Show of Shows. Additionally, he has made a promise to stop The American Nightmare from dethroning The Tribal Chief on the second night of the event.

During his response to The Final Boss’ assault on Rhodes during RAW, Stevie Richards remarked that The Rock’s muscular build hindered his ability to deliver a proper punch. The seasoned wrestler also expressed concern that the WWE icon could potentially sustain an injury during the upcoming tag team match, just one night before his cousin’s title match.

“I am actually worried about Rocky going into WrestleMania and wrestling even a tag match, a full match that if it goes 10-15-20 minutes, just from the limited physicality that I saw, it wasn’t him. He constantly rammed Cody into things because when he did throw a punch, it looked like sh*t. He’s so muscular and so big right now, this is, I think this is the first match Rocky is having with that much at this age. He wrestled Cena but he tore his groin from having so much muscle on his bones, on his body,”he said.

Richards included:

“I just feel like it’s gonna be a short match. Reigns, whoever his partner is, is gonna have to carry a lot of the load. And whatever Rocky does do, he can’t train properly in the ring to get the timing, the flow, the movement of his body back. He’s over. They’re gonna go nuts for whatever he does. But I think he’s gonna come out of this match with an injury and that’s why they don’t have him working both nights. I think he assumes I’m gonna be in pretty rough shape, even if I’m not hurt, I can’t come back the very next night and wrestle at a high level two nights in a row and that’s understandable.”[From 02:11 to 03:29]

The previous Monday, The Rock mercilessly assaulted Cody Rhodes during RAW, resulting in Rhodes being left injured and bleeding in the parking lot. On SmackDown, Paul Heyman, known as The Wiseman, disclosed that The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns had commanded The Final Boss to defeat The American Nightmare.

Despite their absence from the previous episode of the Blue Brand, both The Rock and the leader of The Bloodline are expected to make an appearance on tomorrow’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Following his attack on Cody Rhodes, The Rock used a weight belt with “Mama Rhodes”written on it to wipe off the American Nightmare’s blood. The WWE legend has promised to present this belt to Rhodes’ mother at WrestleMania. Teil, Rhodes’ sister, shared her mother’s response to The Final Boss’ disrespectful actions, revealing that she was furious and even prepared to confront The Rock at WrestleMania with a weapon. This hints at a potential showdown between the two.
