The Rock sends a message to WWE referee whom he attacked after RAW
The Rock has communicated with the WWE referee whom he had attacked off-camera during this week’s episode of RAW.
After the conclusion of RAW, The Great One observed a WWE referee assisting Seth Rollins. He approached the referee in silence, patiently waiting for a few moments before forcefully striking him with his weight belt.
WWE then proceeded to post the footage of The Rock’s unexpected assault on the referee on their X account. The Brahma Bull caught wind of the video and had this to say in reply:
Cody Rhodes’s decision to step down from the WrestleMania XL main event in light of The Rock’s return
Following his victory in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, Rhodes relinquished his spot at WrestleMania XL. He then shared a hug with The Brahma Bull, but appeared to be conflicted about his decision. However, Cody ultimately reclaimed his spot and will now be vying for the top prize on the second night of WrestleMania XL.
During his appearance on The MMA Hour, Cody discussed The Great One’s return to WWE.
“After I had conceded the main event to The Rock, I still thought, ‘I’m going to find my way there.’ I still thought that. It’s one of the reasons I stayed dead silent. I didn’t want to put an opinion on it. I don’t want to get into the backstage details. What was out there is what was out there. I just felt like I was still going to make it. Then, thankfully, literally millions of people made it so that I did get back.” [H/T Fightful]
Rhodes and Seth Rollins are preparing to face off against The Bloodline on the first night of ‘Mania. It will certainly be a challenging task for the heroic duo to defeat two of the most prominent names in the current industry.
