The Rock sends a message after brutally beating down Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes on WWE RAW
Despite their best efforts, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes were unable to escape a savage attack by The Rock and Roman Reigns during last night’s WWE RAW. The Brahma Bull later took to social media to address the events of the evening.
The four men will have the opportunity to resolve their conflicts in the squared circle at WrestleMania XL, where they will face off in a tag team match on Night One. They also confronted each other on last night’s RAW, during which The Bloodline emerged victorious. The show concluded with The Final Boss and The Tribal Chief standing tall, while The American Nightmare, The Visionary, and Jey Uso were left defeated.
The Rock used social media to publicize the show’s success, stating that last night’s episode in New York City was the highest-selling RAW in United States history, making history.
Speculation: Possible Matchup Between The Rock and Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam
The Rock is scheduled to compete in his first WWE match in eight years at WrestleMania XL, teaming up with Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes. Initially, it appeared that The Great One would be facing The Big Dog, but fan backlash prompted a change in plans.
Despite their current paths diverging, wrestling veteran Matt Morgan believes that there is still a possibility for the two cousins to face off in the future. Additionally, Morgan suggested that a potential match between Rock and Cody Rhodes could potentially happen at SummerSlam.
“[The Rock is gonna help Cody win?] No, no, no, no, it still will be Roman versus Rock eventually, in my opinion. Maybe we get Cody versus Rock at SummerSlam when Cody’s the champ. I don’t know. But I just know I’m for the ride. I love everything they’re doing right now!”he said.
As the highly-anticipated Showcase of Immortals approaches, the Hollywood star has a busy schedule ahead. He is not only set to induct his grandmother, Lia Maivia, into the WWE Hall of Fame, but he will also be inducting Paul Heyman, alongside Roman Reigns, into the esteemed Hall of Fame.
