The Rock leaving Cody Rhodes in a pool of blood again ahead of major WrestleMania title match is possible, says veteran

As a seasoned wrestler, Matt Morgan is confident that The Rock has the ability to cause Cody Rhodes to bleed once more before his upcoming Undisputed WWE Universal Title match against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.

Last week on RAW, The American Nightmare was ambushed by The Final Boss backstage and then pursued into the parking lot. The Rock proceeded to cut Rhodes’ forehead, smearing his blood onto his weight belt and promising to present the blood-soaked belt to the wrestler’s mother, who is 38 years old.

Matt Morgan has stated that the scenario may occur again on the first night of WrestleMania, as he and his cousin, Roman Reigns, join forces to take on the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble victor and current World Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins, in a highly anticipated tag team match.

During an interview on Gigantic Pop, Morgan asserted that Rhodes ought to be the one to be pinned in the upcoming tag team match. The seasoned wrestler also hinted that The Rock might once again make The American Nightmare bleed before his title match on Night Two.

“Cody needs to take the pin, and he needs to get eviscerated. Like, that’s why I was surprised The Rock did what he did last week. Despite his unsuccessful attempt to defeat the leader of The Bloodline at last year’s WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes is widely predicted to finally put an end to Roman Reigns’ historic reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at this year’s Show of Shows.

Matt Morgan also stated on the podcast that the winner of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble must win the title before the end of this year.

“[Do you think Cody should win the title?] Abso-flipping-lutely. Yes, yes, yes, yes! I will be irate if he doesn’t. I’ll be heartbroken if he doesn’t!”he said.

Last Monday on RAW, Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins were decimated by The Rock and Roman Reigns. It will be intriguing to see if at WrestleMania XL this weekend, The American Nightmare and The Visionary will seek retribution.
