The Rock and Roman Reigns will win at WrestleMania 40: Why does CM Punk believe it will happen?

At WrestleMania 40, Roman Reigns and The Rock will join forces to face off against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in an epic tag team match. As part of the promotion for the event, WWE shared a video on their social media platforms featuring different superstars giving their predictions for the match, including CM Punk.

During his prediction for the tag team match, The Second-City Saint declared that it was difficult to bet against The Tribal Chief and The Final Boss.

Despite this, CM Punk acknowledged the challenge of betting against The American Nightmare. The 45-year-old also expressed his belief that The Bloodline, a Samoan faction, is unbeatable and if he had to make a prediction, he would choose them.

The Straight Edge Superstar reinforced his assertion by stating that Seth Rollins was the weakest link, further suggesting that The Visionary could potentially hinder The American Nightmare’s chances of winning the tag team match at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

“Hard to bet against The Rock and Roman [Reigns]. Easy to bet against Seth, hard to bet against Cody. But if there’s a weak link, it’s Seth! I gotta go with [The] Rock and Roman on this one. I think The Bloodine is way too powerful,”said Punk.

Is a Roman Reigns vs CM Punk rivalry on the horizon in WWE?

During his recent appearance on Monday Night RAW, CM Punk discussed a range of superstars, including Roman Reigns.

The Second-City Saint revealed that he had a strong feeling he would cross paths with The Tribal Chief during his ascent to the peak of the mountain. It is worth mentioning that the 45-year-old previously mentioned Roman Reigns on an episode of SmackDown.

“I have a feeling that me coming back and climbing back up the mountain, and on Roman’s way back down the mountain, we’re gonna see each other pretty soon,”he added.

By mentioning the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Punk subtly implies that WWE could potentially be planning a future feud between the two superstars.
