The Coming of Age quest in The Lonesome Guild centers around the personal journey of finding Mauhen’s father, who has been absent from his life since childhood. Successfully completing this quest will unlock the Wishing Well achievement, making it a significant milestone for players.
It’s important to note that this quest is not part of the main storyline. Therefore, players must intentionally seek it out. It is advisable to tackle this quest promptly, as it offers a valuable trinket that enhances Mauhen’s combat abilities.
Initiating the Coming of Age Quest
To begin the Coming of Age quest, you must first defeat Khaibit, the final boss in the Spiral Tower. This encounter caps your journey to the tower’s apex, where Khaibit awaits.
After you vanquish Khaibit, return to Barr’Hondus, where you can initiate the quest by conversing with Mauhen. He can be located on the western side of the camp.
How to Navigate the Coming of Age Quest
The initial task in the quest involves meeting Ariast at the Spiral Tower. You can find him in the room adjacent to the fast-travel point within the Spiral Tower Hall.
Upon engaging with Ariast, he will reveal that there is a special gift for Mauhen hidden in the restricted area of the Spiral Tower. Fortunately, this area is just a short jaunt away; navigate through the door on the left from the Spiral Tower Hall.
Once inside the restricted section, take the first right to teleport to a new area. Proceed by ascending the staircase adjacent to the red fog of loneliness.
Advance through the area until you encounter some enemies. Prepare for a challenging combat situation, so it’s advisable to bring the strongest members of your party into this fight.
After triumphing over the foes, navigate to the stairs located at the rear of the room that leads to a treasure chest. Open this chest to acquire the Ornate Case. Then, return to Ariast in the Spiral Tower Hall to conclude this phase of the quest.
Locating Uadurshedu
The final stage of this quest involves finding Mauhen’s father, Uadurshedu, located in Nunuit Town. The quickest route is to fast travel to the Orbital Port campsite and head west toward the docks.
At the northernmost docking station, you will discover Uadurshedu. Speak with him and exhaust all dialogue options to successfully complete the Coming of Age quest in The Lonesome Guild.
Rewards for Completing the Coming of Age Quest
Upon completing the Coming of Age quest, players are rewarded with 300 experience points, the esteemed Star-shaped Medallion, and an additional 6 Relationship Points for Mauhen.
While Relationship Points significantly enhance character performance in battles, the standout reward is undoubtedly the Star-shaped Medallion. This equippable item boosts magic potency by 10%.
Moreover, when Mauhen equips the Star-shaped Medallion, he not only gains this magical enhancement but also his skills generate healing bubbles that restore health to allies who collect them. This feature proves invaluable for sustaining your party’s health during challenging encounters.
