“THE LIES”— Fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Respond to Whitney Uncovering Lisa’s Business Rumors

In the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, season 5, the narrative shifted focus following the cast’s Milwaukee adventure, centering on their return home. Episode 5, which aired on October 16, featured Whitney confronting allegations concerning her jewelry line, Prism.

Whitney revealed that a rumor had circulated suggesting her brand sourced its materials from Alibaba, a prominent Chinese wholesale distributor. To support this claim, the individual behind the rumor shared images that matched promotional photographs of jewelry from both Prism and Alibaba.

During a key moment in the episode, Whitney received a call from a friend who hosts a podcast, revealing the identity of the rumor’s originator. He indicated that the gossip came from within Whitney’s circle, specifically pointing to someone involved in the liquor industry. Since Lisa was the only cast member owning such a business, Whitney concluded she was the source of this misinformation, prompting a flurry of responses from fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City on social media.

“Awwwww look at Whitney trying to have her own ‘Receipts, Proof, Timelines…’ moment! Lawd THE LIES THE LIES!”commented one viewer.

“LMAO Whitney is hilarious. These basic *ss questions to solve this “mystery” make it clear Lisa was never her friend…,”noted another fan.

Several viewers pointed out the striking similarities in the images and inferred that Whitney might be sourcing her jewelry from Alibaba.

“I can understand Whitney being upset IF Lisa leaked that jewelry pic. But I still don’t get how the jewelry looks identical?? Like literally the same pics?? And just to add, I still love Lisa,”one user expressed.

“Whitney pretending to be outraged is sending me. . girl you already knew that jewelry came from Alibaba,”another user added.

Opinions among fans were divided; some defended Lisa, while others suspected that Whitney had orchestrated the situation to frame Lisa.

“Whitney’s story about Lisa feels fake and staged. Next,”a comment suggested.

“I don’t believe that Lisa invented the rumor about Whitney. This feels like a scheme Whitney concocted,”another user remarked.

Some viewers questioned the credibility of the information Whitney received from her podcast friend, Adam.

“This entire call with Whitney and ‘Adam’ the podcaster comes off as staged. Your evidence coming from a podcaster, child,”one fan commented.

“The conversation with this podcaster is sooooo weird, not the 20 questions just to reveal who it is,”remarked another.

Whitney’s Interaction with Podcaster Adam in The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Season 5 Episode 5

During her phone call with Adam, Whitney shared in a confessional that he had connections with the individual spreading the rumors about her Alibaba accusations. Adam relayed that while searching for the root of the rumor, the account holder confirmed it was “definitely somebody in your (Whitney’s) group.”However, specifics about the person were not provided, prompting Adam to quiz further.

When Adam inquired whether the suspected individual owned a jewelry brand, the answer was negative. In the same vein, the response remained negative for a beauty brand, but affirmative when liquor was mentioned. Given that Lisa Barlow was the only member with a liquor business, this led Whitney to assume her involvement.

Post-call, in a confessional segment, Whitney expressed conflicting feelings; she felt validated yet wished the information were untrue.

New segments of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 are available on Wednesdays at 9 PM ET on Bravo.
