Enhanced Features and Graphics Performance
“The PC version of The Last of Us Part II Remastered incorporates all the enhancements and new features first introduced in the 2024 PlayStation 5 release, ”highlighted Naughty Dog.“This includes the engaging roguelike survival mode, No Return, the Guitar Free Play feature, and extensive developer commentary.”
Notably, the game will offer support for Nvidia DLSS 3 and Frame Generation, alongside day-one support for AMD FSR 3.1 and FSR 4, both with frame generation capabilities. Additional technological support includes DirectStorage, compatibility with ultrawide monitors, and enhanced functionality for DualSense controllers with haptic feedback.

New Content and Accessibility Features
Sony has also announced the introduction of Bill and Marlene as new playable characters within the No Return mode, along with the addition of four new maps. This new content will launch simultaneously for both PC and PlayStation 5 players.
In a notable policy shift, Sony has eased the requirement for a PlayStation account, making the login process optional for the remastered game. However, players who choose to sign in will unlock exclusive rewards, such as the PlayStation overlay, PSN Trophies, and a unique jacket for Ellie inspired by Naughty Dog’s upcoming title, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
