The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra Could Actually See the Light of the Day But with a Big Question Mark

Samsung is preparing to introduce the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in July. The exciting news is that we have already received intriguing information about these upcoming devices. Furthermore, there are indications that Samsung may also launch a fan edition version of one or both phones. One speculation that has not received enough attention is the possibility of a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. Although this model has been mentioned multiple times online, no solid evidence has been presented yet.

Samsung may limit release of Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra to select regions for exclusive launch

Recent information has revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra is indeed going to be released, although it is expected to have a limited availability. To elaborate on the confirmation of this Ultra version, according to Galaxy Club, the phone will be identified by the model number SM-F958N. This detail may not be particularly surprising to those who follow Samsung’s releases and model numbers, as the Ultra variants typically end with the number 8. For example, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has the model number SM-S928B, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra has the model number SM-S918B, among others.

The confirmation of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra’s existence is undoubtedly exciting, but it should be noted that the report also mentions a limited release in certain regions. So far, only the model number for the South Korean market has been revealed, leaving no indication of availability in Europe and America. This may disappoint many potential buyers.

Despite the anticipation surrounding the Galaxy Fold 6 Ultra, it is premature to make any definitive statements. My intuition tells me that Samsung may not launch it in July, coinciding with the release of other foldable phones. I am perplexed by the concept of a foldable Ultra, considering the already high cost of the phone. Introducing an Ultra version will only further increase the price, which may not sit well with some consumers.

Is it necessary for Samsung to release a Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, or would it be more beneficial for the company to concentrate on launching a standard model and a Fan Edition model? Share your opinions in the comments section.
