Key Balance Adjustments
Healing Beam Adjustments
- Maximum target distance reduced from 12m to 10m
- Maximum healing range decreased from 15m to 13m
- Time to disconnect a blocked healing beam shortened from 1s to 0.75s
Developer Insight: The previous range allowed healing in combat without significant risk. The reduced distances aim to encourage more counter-play opportunities for opponents utilizing various Gadgets. Pike-556 Weapon Changes
- Damage decreased from 52 to 47
- Increased damage falloff multiplier at maximum range from 75% to 85%
Developer Insight: Despite earlier damage modifications, the Pike-556 was still overpowering in close combat. These revisions target its close-range effectiveness while preserving its viability at longer distances.
Pyro Grenade Enhancements
- Pyro Grenades will now inflict damage on shields, including the Dome Shield and Mesh Shield.
