The Circle Star Garret Gets Emotional Meeting Debbie After a Year of Isolation
The Circle Season 7 released episodes 9 to 12 on September 25, following its season premiere on September 11.
In Episode 11, Kevin and The Scarlotta Twins, who were disguised as Gianna, became influencers for the third consecutive time. They made the decision to eliminate Garret, as he was the lowest-rated contestant in Episode 10 and did not have an alliance with either of them.
As with any contestant who gets blocked, Garret was given the opportunity to meet a contestant of his choice. He knocked on Rachel’s door, only to be surprised to find Debbie in disguise. Upon seeing her, they quickly hit it off, and Garret opened up emotionally, expressing:
“It’s just been a very isolating year. This has been so easy to live alone because I’ve been so alone.”
Debbie and Garret’s Meeting in The Circle Season 7 Episode 11
After being blocked from The Circle, Garret faced a tough decision on which contestant to meet: Jadejha, Rachel, or Kevin. He initially considered meeting Jadejha, who had supported him throughout the game.
Garret also wanted to see Kevin to confirm his true identity. Lastly, he wanted to chat with Rachel to gauge whether she viewed him as a strong ally, as he did her.
Eventually, Garret chose to meet Rachel, only to be taken aback when he found Debbie waiting for him in her The Circle apartment. He inquired about Rachel’s identity, and Debbie explained she was a close family friend. She mentioned that she had rated Garret fourth, while he placed her second.
Debbie shared her perspective, including her challenge with Madelyn’s strategy of keeping Garret low on her list. Garret revealed that Madelyn had reassured him of her support the previous night. Debbie stated she rated Kevin second because he also reached out to her for help, and she speculated that they might go for Jadejha.
When Rachel asked Garret about his occupation as a circus performer, he clarified that he was an aerialist in New York for seven years before moving to Dubai. He admitted that the last six months have been particularly difficult, and while living alone in The Circle house was easier due to his isolation, it was still a challenge.
Garret expressed his eagerness to learn more about Debbie, showing admiration for her. Debbie shared family photographs, introducing each member, and became emotional when discussing her son Jonathan, who had passed away at the age of 22. She fondly recalled her role as a nurturing figure, suggesting that Garret could think of her as an “extra mommy.”She reflected on her regret for not rating Garret higher, while he encouraged her, saying she was excelling in the game.
Debbie extended an invitation for Garret to visit her in Pittsburgh, and as their meeting drew to a close, Garret expressed appreciation for their time together, emphasizing it was more of a “see you soon”rather than a farewell. Debbie reassured him that he was now part of her family, to which Garret added that he was frustrated but grateful to have met her.
Episode 13 of The Circle Season 7 is scheduled to air on October 2, available for streaming on Netflix.
