“The better game plan will win” – Jonathan Di Bella torn between ‘even fighters Superbon and Marat Grigorian

The next encounter between Superbon Superbon Training Camp and Marat Grigorian is seen as a “50-50″match, according to ONE strawweight kickboxing world champion Jonathan Di Bella.

On April 5, ONE Championship will be making a comeback to the renowned Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for ONE Friday Fights 58. The main event will feature a rematch between Superbon and Grigorian, with the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title up for grabs once again.

After each claiming a victory over the other, Superbon and Grigorian’s third encounter is highly anticipated and expected to be even more intense. As a result, the majority of fans and fighters, like Di Bella, are divided on who will come out on top in their upcoming match.

During an interview with ONE, Jonathan Di Bella shared his prediction by stating the following:

“I’m a fan of both of them. I really can’t pick because I feel like they’re both even right now. I believe they’re one and one and they’re both coming off big wins. I don’t know. I’ll go 50-50. The better game plan will win for sure.”

Defending World Champion Jonathan Di Bella to Face Tough Opponent at ONE Friday Fights 58

Prior to the Superbon vs. Marat Grigorian 2 fight, Jonathan Di Bella is determined to retain his ONE strawweight kickboxing world title in the co-main event. In order to do so, the undefeated Canadian-Italian must prevent ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai from achieving two-sport dominance.

Prajanchai comes into ONE Friday Fights 58 with a strong sense of momentum from his previous performance. In December 2023, the renowned Thai fighter claimed the strawweight Muay Thai championship title by knocking out Joseph Lasiri in the first round. This victory also served as redemption for his only loss in the promotion against Lasiri back in May 2022.

Prajanchai has set his sights on securing a second world title by defeating Di Bella, in order to continue building his legacy. However, this will not be an easy task, as the current strawweight kickboxing champion has maintained an undefeated record since turning professional.
