American comedian Steve Harvey recently removed a 2017 post on X (formerly Twitter) where he lauded Sean “Diddy”Combs for contributing “a world of good”for children. This action followed the hip-hop mogul’s arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, alongside several allegations of sexual assault.

Harvey’s original tweet from 2017 stated:

“My brother @diddy is doing a world of good for these kids.”

Fans quickly noticed Steve Harvey’s deletion of the tweet praising Combs and took to X to express their reactions, with many humorously pointing out how the post did not age well. One user remarked:

“boy that tweet did NOT age well man😭😭”

Numerous other netizens echoed similar sentiments on the social media platform.

However, Usher later clarified that his account had been hacked, and he reinstated his posts. Meanwhile, Pink did not confirm her reasons for deleting her posts, leaving fans to speculate about a potential connection with Sean Combs’ legal issues.

On September 16, 2024, Sean Diddy Combs was arrested and charged with three counts of sex trafficking and racketeering. Since that time, the rapper has been held in custody with bail pleas denied.

According to an indictment dated September 17, prosecutors alleged that Combs and his associates abused and coerced multiple men and women “to fulfill his sexual desires.” The rapper supposedly compelled victims to engage in group sexual activities, recording these encounters, which were referred to as “Freak-Offs.”

The allegations trace back to November 2023, when Combs’ former girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault, physical abuse, and rape during their relationship from 2007 to 2018.

In her lawsuit, Ventura claimed Combs forced her into his “ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle” since their initial meeting when she was just 19 years old, while Combs was 37. She alleged that Combs raped her in 2018 at his Los Angeles home when she attempted to end their relationship.

In May 2024, CNN broadcast disturbing footage from 2016 depicting the hip-hop mogul physically abusing Cassie Ventura in a California hotel lobby. Combs later issued an apology for his actions shown in the video via an Instagram post. Although the lawsuit with Ventura was settled out of court that same month, multiple other victims came forward with similar accusations in the ensuing months.

In March 2024, federal authorities conducted raids on Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami in relation to alleged sex trafficking offenses. In September 2024, Combs was also issued a $100 million default judgment regarding an alleged sexual assault against Derrick Lee Cardello-Smith at a 1997 party.

Multiple other individuals, including Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, Dawn Richards, Crystal McKinney, Joie Dickerson-Neal, and several anonymous claimants, have also filed lawsuits against Diddy, alleging various instances of sexual abuse and harassment.

Sean Diddy Combs is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn while he awaits his court proceedings.
