Thai Actor Gulf Kunawut Shares Viral “Love” Confession to BTS’ Jin at Milan Fashion Week

Thai actor Gulf Kanawut recently shared details about his viral encounter with BTS’ Jin during the Gucci Show at Milan Fashion Week. During the event, Gulf was questioned about Jin’s reaction after his spontaneous “I love you”confession, to which the actor revealed that the idol responded with a laugh.

Gulf noted that Jin likely didn’t anticipate such a bold expression of admiration, and was clearly taken by surprise. He remarked:

“It came on its own. When I saw his face, he is really handsome. I’ve heard many BTS songs, when I saw him he was nice and very cute so it naturally came out.”

This unforgettable moment occurred on September 20, 2024, when Gulf and Jin were at the Gucci show as brand ambassadors. Gulf, who is an emerging talent in the Thai entertainment scene, was ecstatic about meeting the BTS member.

He went on to express his admiration for the “Moon”singer, describing him as “really cute” and “handsome.” Interestingly, both Gulf and Jin share the same birthday, December 4, although there is a five-year age difference between them.

Reflecting on his Milan experience, Gulf Kanawut Traipipattanapong recounted that, although the global fame of the BTS member made it challenging to approach him, he managed to engage in a brief conversation and sincerely conveyed, “I love you so much.”

In subsequent interviews, Gulf described the BTS vocalist as incredibly charming. During a fan signing event, Gulf humorously interacted with fans. When asked which hand he had used to shake Jin’s hand, the Laorchan actor replied “both hands” and jokingly denied anyone else the chance to shake them.

The actor expressed his gratitude to his fans, emphasizing how lucky he felt to have shared a personal moment with such an internationally renowned artist. At the Sulwhasoo event, he stated:

“I’m glad. Thank you very much to everyone because we know how difficult it is to have a one-on-one with BTS. But it turned out we got it and everyone was happy to see us. It’s a national agenda. Thank you to everyone.”

Gulf has risen to prominence in Thai entertainment, becoming well-known for his work in series such as TharnType: The Series, Dujapsorn, and You Are My Makeup Artist.

He is also the face of Sulwhasoo Thailand, a prestigious cosmetic brand.

Meanwhile, the eldest member of BTS, Jin, is currently busy with a full schedule following his discharge from military service in June, and he is preparing for his highly anticipated solo debut album release.
